(snip)I just wanted to let you know that you can stop worrying about Big Guy kicking the fiscal cliff can down the road into 2013. The bad news is there will be no resolution butt the good news is it doesnt matter given the quickly approaching end of the world on December 21.

I am thoroughly fed up with people who use apostrophe-s to form plurals.
The Bush’s. The Clinton’s. The Obama’s.
I have reported you for abuse.
Do you mean apostrophes ?
And I am sick of folks writing lists and passing them off as sentences.
Huh?
Of course, we'll miss out on parts 2 & 3...
Mark
Does it’s for its bother you as well?
Makes me crazy.
I am sick of folks being sick.
Oh wait, it’s cold and flu season...
And I am sick and tired of these stupid articles.
That confusion bothers me, as well. But they know not what they do. Deficiency in education, I suppose.
It certainly reveals a lack of attention to spelling as they read, that’s for sure.
I find it in newspaper articles and columns as well. So very tacky of me but, there are times when I must point the error out. LOL
There’s a sentence for you.
"Its, It's, It is" always makes me a little shaky, a little queasy. I have never understood the "its, it's, it is" range war.
I better learn the difference quickly.
It is, after all, December 21st!
“It’s” is the contraction of “it is.”
“Its” is the possessive of “it.”
All you have to remember is that the contraction is what you would expect it to be, and the possessive is the opposite of what you would expect it to be. Really simple.
Sentence flows smoother when it is written like this:
"All you have to remember is that the contraction is what you would expect it to be and the possessive is the opposite of what you would expect it to be."
Your right!
Chew on that for a while. LOL
