The media doesn't really think this story is important any longer. Yesterday the Weather Channel did a story on how 5% of people in Manhattan highrises still don't have power and 30% in lower building don't have power either, but a word about people elsewhere in NYC that have NOTHING. PS without exception the worst hit areas are all heavy GOP areas hmmm!

Sorry to hear it... But the majority will have to appeal to Obama. He can save them.

After numerous reports of hostility from Union thugs from help sent - and that region’s continuous lofting of Obama as Dictator over us all - why should we subject ourselves to their contempt and willful spitting on our aid?

They do not want our help - and if they do - they want it on their terms (money robbed from us by government and redistributed).

Let them pray to Obama and the Unions whom they have made as their gods to help them.

What are Bloomberg and Andrew doing for the area?
Wasn’t Obama in SI last week promising them the moon and stars?

Thank you. I copied and pasted in an email to myself, so I won’t lose the page. Staten Island is one of the few largely Republican districts in the area (not that that matters so much in times like these). These are solid, hard-working folks who need a hand. I will do what I can.

Sorry. If Staten Island wants help they should look to Obama.

They voted for him to be their savior then so be it.

How can I donate food items? I’m about 20 miles from Staten Island.

Looking at the 2012 election results for Staten island, I'd say that they had better go ask Obama and their re-elected or newly elected DemocRat overlords for help.

Lord and Savior Obama will descend from the clouds and bring comfort and joy to everyone.

And how do we know that’s a “heavily GOP area?”

May I suggest a large coalition of victims in your area hold a press conference and be clear about the situation. I would also recommend that you blame Bush and praise Obama, that way media will actually show up for the presser.

"Heavily GOP area?" Even with the gross failure of this administration to get help to the area, Obama still got a majority of the Staten Island vote.... this after Romney was expected to win.

The Red Cross and FEMA are doing very good work, but even they are falling behind.

Better let the Food Stamp President know of your problem. If the Red Cross and FEMA are doing such a good job, why are they falling behind. Might want to hire some black people and provide them with signs to protest outside Mayor no 32oz drinks office.

To: jmaroneps37; Just mythoughts; old and tired; SueRae; miss marmelstein; smokingfrog; Toespi; ...

I went to Canlon’s Restaurant tonight. He is providing food at St. Margaret Mary’s parish hall - which they are calling the Midland Beach Relief Center (because all are welcome.)

I’ll try to go over tomorrow to confirm the K of C is involved.

Thanks for your sympathy and support.
