My wife, Jeanie, told me about this flash mob. We need more like it.

Watching and listening cheered up my morning; I needed that because I have been focusing on and writing about the surfeit of bad stuff with which we are being bombarded with no viable solutions yet on the horizon. In such circumstances even a brief respite is welcome. Perhaps others may find their spirits lifted in a similar way.
Just for the heck of it, here's another.

Might that sort of mob some happy day displace the ugly mobs to which we have sadly become accustomed? Is it an impossible dream? Probably, but even a few of those might help.

Some beauty persists. Happy day after the day after Thanksgiving!

It improved my spirits and I hoped it might do the same for others.

Thanks for posting!. Brought tears to this mans eyes. With much evil and darkness it was an encouraging breath of fresh air to see an outbreak of beauty, joy and civilization in a public place. It reminded me of a flashmob of Nov 2010 in the Antwerp train station. That was so very joyous.
Enjoy it here.

Thank you. I think this post should been in breaking news. We need this. Beethoven’s piece has to be the top greatest pieces ever created. I have recording of it that brings me to tears quite often.

I think I’ve watched that one about.....500 times. IMHO, no other Flashmob comes close. :)

Thanks for the Hallelujah Chorus video link. When we lived near Annapolis, Maryland, my wife sang it as a member of the Annapolis Chorale. She commented that the food court video gave those there an opportunity to hear and feel it as one does when singing in a chorus.

...as I wipe the tears away before the kids come in, I think - would it not be wonderful to somehow begin to reestablish American culture by acts of cultural civil disobedience? Maybe the media would even consent to cover it?

Seems an excellent idea to me.

Maybe the media would even consent to cover it?That is highly unlikely...the (MSM) has (for decades); taken great pains..
"to destroy" the (unique) American Social / Economic Culture.
Why should they stop now?..they have installed "their Prince / Destroyer"; the (Responsible)
Media died in the early 1960s..the Marxists' POP Culture rules (for the time being).
sorry, for the rant...thank goodness for FR
