And that’s why the Republican Party is also known as the Stupid Party. To trust Democrats not to cheat their way into office is ludicrous after their long history of vote fraud.

The decision is online, through findlaw IIRC. I’ve got to head to work, please post link to the ruling for verification.

The Freeper Boot Licking Brigade will be by soon to derride you for deviating from the loser’s narrative. Best to have verification up front.

“The RNC, inexplicably, decided to agree to a consent decree before a Democrat-appointed judge rather than fight the claims.”

The GOPe has been make up of girlymen for thirty years it seems.

Calling for all real conservatives to once and for all flip the finger to the Republican Party and move - together - to the Constitution Party. For the good of the country and to retain your own credibility.

Thanks for finding this. I had a lawyer friend asking about this the other day. Bad deal for the RNC. Given the left’s propensity for fraud, it amounts to a suicide pact. Bad lawyering.

...requires the RNC – but not the DNC – to “refrain from undertaking any ballot security activities in polling places or election districts where the racial or ethnic composition of such districts is a factor in the decision to conduct, or the actual conduct of, such activities there and where a purpose or significant effect of such activities is to deter qualified voters from voting;...

The cure is simple, but requires a lot of work on our part. The same ballot security activities have to be observed in every district of every town. Treating everyone the same is an affimative defense against the bogus charges of discrimination. Every QUALIFIED voter gets to vote...ONCE!

Time to dump the GOP party. Let's just call the opposition to liberalism the TeaParty. United against taxation/mandates without representation. Make NO agreements with any of the liberals.

All it ever takes for Democracy to fail is for a populace to abandon honesty. Without honesty and without integrity, no number of police, prisons, or political partisanship will save the government from corruption, tyranny, and collapse.

Democrats alleged Republicans were trying intimidate minority voters in New Jersey and brought the legal action.

So... I guess having armed Black Panther squads at polling places is not voter intimidation but voter ID is.

When did I fall into the Bizzaro world?

It was a Republican who freed the slaves. It was the Republican party who first pushed for the women's vote and civil rights.

It was the democrats who started the KKK and and perfected black voter intimidation.

Summary from debunking the last half-dozen times this court case was brought up the past week:
  1. The consent decree covers the RNC, not the GOP (which includes state and local committees)
  2. The consent decree doesn't ban the RNC from anything. It requires pre-approval for plans.
  3. The consent decree has NEVER stopped the RNC from performaing any voter fraud programs.
  4. The RNC has NEVER submitted a plan for pre-clearance.
  5. The decree explicitly excludes voting-day poll-watching activities and other such programs from the pre-clearance requirements
  6. the decree is about voter registration programs, not post-election voter fraud inquiries.

So, no, this consent decree in no way shows "why" the GOP doesn't stop voter fraud.

WND should stick to mis-understanding the constitution. - The court case has NOTHING to do with stopping the "GOP" from fighting voter fraud

snip-” As modified in 1987, the Consent Decree defined “ballot security activities” to mean “ballot integrity, ballot security or other efforts to prevent or remedy vote fraud.”
Since 1982, that Consent Decree has been renewed every year by the original judge, Carter appointee District Judge Dickinson R. Debevoise, now 88 years old. Long retired, Debevoise comes backyearly for the sole purpose of renewing his 1982 order for another year.”

http://thesteadydrip.blogspot.com/2012/11/why-gop-wont-challenge-vote-fraud.html

“Surprise! The judge who denied the RNC’s appeal to “vacate” the 1982 Consent Decree is an Obama appointee, Judge Joseph Greenaway, Jr., of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.”

Change your affiliation to “INDEPENDENT”.

how is this consent decree not illegal and has not the RNC misled their donors by not revealing this significant fact publicly?
