HOORAY Merillat! Prepare. Persevere.
Thanks Barry!!! You’re getting done what Osama couldn’t do! Good job! Every commie ‘RAT gets a trophy when you’re done!
Not if “they” have their way. “They” want us begging them for food and roofs over our head. Never have understood to what end such people want to rule. Is money the main goal? Why ruin so many lives?
They make good cabinets.
I guess that work will be farmed out to China now.
Wow..... I have installed so many of their cabinets. Most likely these jobs will go off shore too or Mexico.
I’m sure they would be welcomed here in Texas.
I miss that place, it was my dream house. Planned it for ten years. Only had it two years before everything blew up.
Oh well, at least I still made money on it. Bought the land before speculators drove everything through the roof. Things could be worse, I could’ve easily lost my @ss on it.
A case of he who panics first panics best, I guess.
bump
I may cheer when I see “EPA closes 2 regional offices,” “DOJ lays off 1500 lawyers,” or “White House staff reduced by 400.” THAT would be something to celebrate.
With a spokesperson like Ty Pennington, how could they lose?

Don’t you think it’s a question of the market either disappearing or being greatly reduced? In this economy, no one is building and not many are remodeling. So who’d be buying new cabinets?
They’re “better” cabinets, but not absolute top of the line. I’d imagine they’ve been taking a sales hit on cost compared to more mass-produced, less well made products, particularly imports.
I suppose any company that manufactures well-made proeducts domestically is in deep kimchi. What horrible times we’re living in.
I wonder how Shiloh, another Virginia cabinetmaker, is doing? Marsh too, for that matter, they’re mor local. I considered both of them before settling on Merillat. Similar.
You piqued my curiosity, so googled both Shiloh and Marsh. It appears both are weathering the economic storm. (but the Shiloh I found is in MO? And Marsh, of course, is in High Point, NC).
