Sorry. Linux is a non-starter. It has zero intuitive feel to it.
It’s great if you want to run it as a server, without much interaction/administration.
But as far as something people can use... FAIL.
Shrug. I can't help it if you can't learn it. But it does work extremely well--both as a server and as a desktop.
Fail? In what way? I hooked up a friend of mine with Linux about 2 years ago with Fedora 12. After the inevitable confusion with something new, he's doing fine with it. I recently asked him if he wanted me to upgrade him to F16, and he declined. He's happy with it, and doesn't see the need to upgrade because it does everything he wants, and then some. BTW, he's a 60 year old non-geek. I'd not call that a fail.
