The post-storm housing a refugee camp on the grounds of the Monmouth Park racetrack is in lockdown, with security guards at every door, including the showers.
No one is allowed to go anywhere without showing their I.D. Even to use the bathroom, you have to show your badge, said Amber Decamp, a 22-year-old whose rental was washed away in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
The mini city has no cigarettes, no books, no magazines, no board games, no TVs, and no newspapers or radios. On Friday night, in front of the mess hall, which was serving fried chicken and out-of-the-box, just-add-water potatoes, a child was dancing and dancing to nothing. Were starting to lose it, said Decamp. But we have nowhere else to go.

Preppers’ PING!!
If anything, it shows why Bush should not be blamed for what happened in the Katrina aftermath. The fault belong with the State of Louisiana, just as this particular fiasco is at the State level. Dittoes with New York.
The difference is a media not running around bleating "Obama's Fault!"
Most if not all of the German concentration and extermination camps had that sign at the gate, “Work will make you free”. I have a similar photo from Dachau
Practice for bigger things?
I was just about to ping you.
Took three post until I found someone who gets it.
“The mini city has no cigarettes, no books, no magazines, no board games, no TVs, and no newspapers or radios.”
Not a single luxury!
Like Robinson Crusoe,
As primitive as can be.
I toured Dachau a few years ago.I decided that I’d rather die in a hopeless firefight than allow them to put me in a place like that.
Bush’s fault?
Maybe the MSM better not record these things, startin’ to make O’s admin look like they should not have gotten voted....Uh oh, here comes the hook from the old Gong Show!!!AAAAAAh.
That’s exactly what I was thinking...
Trial run.
God forbid, I ever find myself in need of such a shelter and face such a "rule".....I'll piss on the son of a bitch before I'll show an ID, and let the chips fall where they may.
P.S. He better have his game together.
No media is allowed inside the fenced complex, which houses operations for JCP&Ls army of workers from out of the area. The FEMA website indicated on Monday that there had been a shelter for first responders, utility and construction workers to take a break, although the compound now contains a full-time shelter operated by the state Department of Human Services.
---------------
The story at the link is outrageous. People are being denied the ability to report their plight to the outside world.
But this is NOT one of the legendary FEMA camps.
I guess you don’t care that this is NOT a FEMA camp? Can’t let the facts get in the way of a good conspiracy, can we?
Im a SDA. My church has taught from its beginning that the United States would turn from a protector of the faith to a persecutor of the faith.
From the lamb to the dragon, as it were.
Or...Is that even legal any more?
” No one is allowed to go anywhere without showing their I.D. Even to use the bathroom,”
Should have told the guards that you were looking for a voting booth and therefore id isn’t required.
Trial run for Obama putting conservatives and christians in concentration camps....I said for years that if democrats thought they could get away with it, it would have happened years ago....gotta get those guns first from us..
Remember this for the rest of your life: if you use a little canned condensed milk with some dry ranch mix and a little manteca/lard - these are shelf-stable - you can make mashed taters as good as with an electrified and stocked kitchen. Plenty of pepper, of course.
Sabol was told that she had half an hour to pack: everyone was getting shipped to hotels in Wildwood, New Jersey, where they would be able to re-acquaint themselves with showers, beds and a door.
The packed her up and sent her to the camp on Wednesday, I'm guessing they made sure she voted on Tuesday?
