Do we have any news from VA? The Dem turnout machine there is rumored to be massive.
Any info?
What surprised me the most was at least ten or more of the Negro couples had the red Republican sample ballots in hand. That could mean somewhere around twenty or more in that line voted for Romney.
There were many military and retired military in line and I pretty much think most of them voted Romney also.
I am concerned about 3rd parties peeling off enough from Mitt to put Obama in.

Where are you?
Most people in line looked like there were there with a purpose, and it wasn't to reelect the president.
Voted today in the 8th .Congressional district in Fairfax, Virginia - Westgate. Arrived at 3:00pm, took 55 minutes to vote, normally takes about 5 minutes. Longest lines for voting ever, going back to 1980 election for Reagan.

90 min wait in Fairfax this AM at 7 am to vote. Yes, big NoVA turnout rightfully scares people, but honestly, i have seen so many Romney signs here it’s amazing to me. The People’s republic of Falls Church has Romney signs. i saw some in OLD TOWN ALEXANDRIA, that’s MINDboggling to me. So yes, NoVA is scary but i am hopeful this time that there are lots of Romney votes here too.
Central VA here. I waited an hour and 15 minutes. Normally, I can bop in, walk up to the machine, vote, and be out in 5 minutes. Today was unprecedented. The poll workers couldn’t get over it; they said there had been no let-up, no break all day, and people were wrapped around the building at 5:30 this morning before they opened.
Paul Ryan called in to Hannity’s show and discussed the historic turnout in VA; he even mentioned our area.
