Joel Gilbert says in his DVD -

“The windows in the living room of Frank’s house were tall and narrow – a design unique to English Tudor style houses,” he noted.

“The windows at 2994 Kalihi Street appear to match the tall, narrow windows with their bottom sill low to the floorboards seen in the pin-up photos.”

The window blind reaches to the ceiling, but the window frame stops at about the level of the couch. THE WINDOW SILL IS NOT LOW TO THE FLOOR.

I've always been intruiged by what looks like a deliberate 'fuzzing' of a window at that address; you don't think Google Earth coulda dunnit, do ya?

It just looks a little suspicious...

Once the Gilbert-myth was looked at, it unravelled immediately. Actually his lies were pretty crude. Only the gullible or those invested in the lie could have believed it.
