It's not just about eyebrows....

The idea of placing the passport application photo beside her face on the couch was to try and establish if she was around the same age. Judging from the age of zero, what they are trying to do is show us a family group from around 1970, and her passport image is from early 1972. Near enough, but her hair's a problem, it's longer and much thicker, but then, I always thought much of it was painted on.

The baby is only a few months old, maybe three months? Maya was born in August 1970, they tell us. So here it would be around Christmas, 1970.

Lolo once sat upon a chair, and SAD also once sat upon a chair, and maybe zero sat on the arm of the chair beside her. But he must have sat ON HIS OWN ON A CHAIR FOR THE SEATED IMAGE OF HIM TO BE USED to place beside her, BECAUSE THERE WASN'T A COUCH. What you see is the right hand arm of one chair and the left hand arm of another chair...and the distance between them extended to accommodate the people. It seems to me there were a number of individual photographs, that were later placed together. The baby came out of the blue, she's been plonked on SAD's lap in two different frames, but as they only had one baby image, they used that same image twice - look at her position - she's centre and then off-centre, yet she hasn't moved a muscle.

And the reason SAD's hand looks like a claw, is because it was taken from THE OTHER PHOTOGRAPH where her hand is on her lap, they had to clean it up and as they did, they lost the thumb. Her right wrist and knuckles are almost in the same place...

Now here you have zero and Maya, the little girl is older, yet zero looks younger. But maybe that's just me...

And what I find hard to believe is that the woman holding the baby, yes, she's Stanley Ann Dunham, COULD look like the woman on the couch in the short skirted tight dress:

The woman on the couch doesn't look like she recently had a baby...And that's just half the story. Please feel free to correct me where I could be wrong.

I cannot disagree with anything you’ve said. The woman on the “couch” (which is, as you noted, obviously manufactured with crude photoshop) does not resemble the woman holding the small baby.

The photo from the passport application resembles the photo of her in the sailor type dress at a port. The very arched eyebrows, IIRC are not a comment feature in SAD. I wonder if there are times when they looked more like that, might be able to determine timeframe from them.

And the boy does look older in the “couch” photo, than in the photo with the older baby Maya.

They must have been at their wits’ end trying to create a family image with very little material.

And funny how even in Indonesia someone managed to at least take a few photos of baby Maya, mother SAD and even grandmother Madelyn, but in HI not one single photo of SAD and a baby Zero...

Another intersting factoid is that the Gilbertson film and FMD myth seems to have dissolved like mist in the rising morning sun.
