What I read somewhere is that General Ham was relieved of duty and still technically listed as “in Charge” because it takes Congress to approve his replacement and that hasn’t been voted on yet. Don’t know if that is right or not though.
Rodríguez, his replacement, needs to be confirmed by Congress.
