Donald Trump says he has “very big news” about President Obama that could significantly alter the race for the White House just two weeks before Election Day.
“Something very, very big concerning the president of the United States,” Trump said Monday on "Fox and Friends." “It’s going to be very big. I know one thing — you will cover it in a very big fashion.”

It’s called “communication”. If you want to communicate to the masses, you can’t talk above most people’s heads. A political science professor (say) could probably make the same announcement, using all sorts of $2 words. It might impress you — but, it wouldn’t sway the masses. It goes a long way to explain why Trump gets around in private jets, helicopters and limos; while the good professor is driving a 10 year old Volvo.

Just because he’s not a conservative does not mean he’s a liberal. I have no idea what he is, really, except that he doesn’t like Obama. Among his reasons may be some conservative principles; maybe even most of his reasons are conservative. But that’s not to say he’s one of us.
Anyway, there’s no reason a liberal can’t go after Obama. Why did Nader suck away Gore’s precious votes? Because Gore wasn’t leftist enough.
It shouldn’t matter at that point. If it’s shown he was born in Kenya then it’s time for Conservative politicians, and influential Conservatives in the media to demand he be removed from office without exception. It’s already time to be working outside the corrupt unconstitutional system we have now if we seriously want to save our country and make it constitutional. It’s time to accept where we are at now.
Trump’s resources are not unlimited; not even Bernanke has all the money in the world. There are only so many guilded toilet seats in his possession.

So why the hell doesn’t he just release the info instead of hyping it, a la geraldo-style? Ratings and publicity is all Trump seems to care about. Not impressed and not holding my breath for this to be a major deal changer.
Besides, I think Romney’s already got it in the bag. If Trump really wanted to help Mitt and hurt Obama, he would have released anything he had long ago.

As has been pointed out, Gloria Allred is hyping some goofy Romney surprise attack any day now. Having Trump poised with his bombshell, no matter what it is, is helpful to offset her nitwittery. And if she hopes to monopolize the airwaves with it in the final days of the campaign, then having him ready to take the wind out of her sails with the Obama drop is perfect.
