DOD blocking questionnaire on Benghazi attack from Chairman of House Armed Services Committee

The Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, Buck McKeon, sent a yes/no questionnaire to commanders in our military to find out if they gave any advice or warning to the State Department over security in Benghazi. Though he gave them 24 hours to respond, the DOD responded by saying they wouldn’t be able to comply. McKeon says this is the first time he’s ever seen the Secretary of Defense prohibit uniformed military from responding to a congressional inquiry and it flies in the face of the president’s claim that he is getting the information out to the American people as it comes in.

I can hear Obama’s explanation, now.

“We have to wait for the FBI and the Department of Justice to finish their investigation.”

As I said in another post regarding the refusal of the administration to classify the shooting at Ft. Hood as an act of terrorism from “workplace violence”: they (this administration and the DOD) are A$$ kissing Islamic terrorist lovers with NO SOULS.

For weeks now I have thought that the denial of requests for security were a dereliction of duty. I consider the lies and misdirection about the "video" after the attack to be fraud and malfeasance under the color of authority. I don't consider the inaction during the attack to be any of those.

IMO the failure to act during the attack is the direct equivalent of desertion.

ONE MAN had the authority to act that night.

ONE MAN deserted his post!

Apparently the DoD wants to be complicit in this desertion.

The US has stepped over the bounds of treason long ago.

So now, the US military is Obama’s personal militia.

I fail to see how they could legally or ethically justify denying this request. They aren’t asking for national security secrets. There is only one reason to deny this request - the Re-Coronation of King Obama.

I heard on our local station the other day that the families of the victims are calling for the admin to reclassify this as an act of terrorism - since it was - so that the victims and families can receive compensation, accordingly. It’s a shame that these folks are even having to call on our own government to, hopefully, do the right thing.

President Obama is commander in chief. If President Obama orders them not to answer, it becomes a check and balance question of separation of powers.

The house could subpoena them... we saw how that worked with Eric Holder.

The public needs to be informed of this so that we get a new commander in chief.

We, the new media are working hard to perform that function.
