'What We Are Witnessing is the Collapse of the Obama Regime' (even BECKEL agrees!)
Reaganite Republican ^ | October 19, 2012 | Reaganite Republican

That's what Liz Cheney and Newt are saying...

At long-last, brought down by the sheer weight
of their ceaseless bungling and obliquity:

Team Obama -shifting gears frantically in desperation- has now taken down almost all of the negative advertising (that their whole campaign was based upon) in the wake of the second debate, replacing it with a 'positive' message focusing on the president's 'achievements' (lol)- what to make of this?

That the American people have made up their own minds re. the Republican nominee, so relentless personal attacks on the
'evil rich guy' simply aren't working anymore- moreover,
Captain Combover knows it.

Still  -with #s like these- one should expect an even more underhanded, dirty strategy from Obama and his crew of Chicago lowlifes: Romney will likely face 'progressive' subterfuge and a political scorched-Earth campaign from these neo-Bolshevik trash and the MSM as they circle 'round the bowl...
it's hard to see Dear Leader enduring his pending
de-throning in any sort of dignified manner:

Gallup: Romney 52% - Obama 45 nationally

(Rove: 'no candidate has ever lost with numbers
like Romney has today')

A nationwide structural shift in the campaign has Romney surging in all twelve 'swing states' , not just 'key' ones
such as Florida.

Mitt's also now ahead in the electoral count for the first time in the race... to my memory Obama was beating him about 2-to-1 there just a couple months ago.

Then consider these polls taken in what
used to be considered 'deep-blue' Dem states,
ones even the GOP had written-off weeks ago...

Michigan: Romney 47 - Obama 49

Pennsylvania: Romney 49 - Obama 45

Any political pundit worth his salt will tell you that Independents always break towards the challenger- if they'd have been willing to keep Obama, they'd have said so by know. As Dick Morris put it, if you ask somebody if they think they'll be married to the same person in a year from now and they respond 'undecided',
it doesn't bode well for the relationship, does it...?

Thus, an incumbent polling far below 50% is in deep, deep trouble- i.e. Barry H. Obama.

Morris adds that states the Dems have long taken for granted -like Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Minnesota and even New Jersey- are all now in-play as most thinking Americans run-away from the rancid, imploding Obama Administration as fast as their little feet can carry them.

As stated here repeatedly, the election will not be close like 95% have been saying forever... instead, Romney is going to
CRUSH Obama, a blowout the likes of which we haven't seen since 1984.

Face it, libs... once you lose Beckel...

Oh, that old thing?  Doesn't work anymore

Not even close. About every other day my Virginia mailbox has hit pieces on Romney inside. The radio plays vicious anti-Romney ads on country stations "not endorsed by any candidate". I don't have a TV, but it's probably the same story there.

I am not a great fan of Romney, but I will enjoy watching him kick Obama’s a** on Election day.

You are right, almost all of the negative ads. Turned the TV on the first thing this morning and there was a negative ad against Romney here in VA

even New Jersey

I don't think Romney will win New Jersey, for three reasons:

1. Northern NJ has too many liberal, cities like Jersey City, Trenton, and Atlantic City are controlled by Democrats who are so corrupt they ship voting machines to inner city polls that are pre-loaded

2. The unions are not huge in number compared to the population, but they have a stranglehold on power

3. New Jersey has no voter ID law (in fact, if you show your ID at the polls, the old bitty liberal hacks working there will SCREAM at you to "Put that AWAY!") Trust me on this

Still, it is amazing Obama (who is so desperate these days he is sounding like a woman caught shoplifting lipstick from WalMart) and Crazy Joe Biden (who came off as the biggest Jerk on the planet 2 weeks ago and thinks he "won") are in trouble in New Jersey.

Why is this?

Two reasons:

1. New Jersey citizens have been abused, raped, and robbed by the property tax mafia. Most have seen their taxes go up 130% in 8 years. Most telling: 94% of property taxes go to school salaries and pensions, but yet 1/3 off all retired NJ teachers flee the state when they retire and head to North Carolina or Florida.

2. Chris Christie has show people that you can fight this corruption, and win. The left are bullies. When you punch back, they are left stunned and fearful.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abbott_district

Race plays a huge factor here. Over 1/3 of all property taxes get funneled to "Abbott Schools", which are all minority districts that get $21,000 per student funding. They rob the white, middle class suburban tax base so the that the inner city schools can have astro turf football fields and every other amenity, and yet their reading, math, graduation, and crime statistics are abysmal.

The first debate cinched it for Romney as people saw that Romney is not the uncaring plutocrat the Obama people had painted him to be and more importantly people saw Obama as the empty suit he really is. The second debate simply made Obama’s economic failure manifest. Obama tried to make it look like he hadn’t been President for the last four years and was just running for office with no track record, but even the Democrat shills in the townhall audience couldn’t swallow that lie.

A quick correction of my numbers: Approx 60-67% of NJ property taxes go to schools (depending on the Township). Of that number, over 94% is eaten up by salaries.

The debates have been an unmitigated disaster for Obama/Biden. Romney and Obama side-by-side is devastating for Obama and another debate will cost him the rest of the undecideds.

I think that the last two points outweigh the first three

I think that the LiEberals are focused other places and think NJ is in the bag. Christie won despite the handicaps Romney an too

The dam is bursting. I've just come across (I know, I'm slow) HillBuzz and all this "Bathhouse Barry" stuff, the "Down Low Club", where gay guys are set up with women, no straight guy will marry as a beard and how Black Americans have had it with Barry and are openly mocking him.

I watched Hannity last night and the speeches at the Al Smith Dinner. Obama went on to praise Romney (to praise himself) for being a family man and father, titles higher than any political office. Why say that? Now I know, he's trying to shore up his Black voting base, reminding them he's not a 'punk*ss, cake boy' (as reported in HillBuzz).

Now, this all is going to come as a shock to Michelle. I'd like to be a fly on the wall, when the penny drops for Michelle. Mount St. Helens will be put to shame. She won't like being classified by the wrong Rev. Wright as a women 'no straight man would marry'. Woo boy, stand back, waaaaay back!

I think Dick Morris (I know, I know) had it right here.

He said from the beginning that Obama was basing his campaign on fantastical character assassination (well, it did work against Palin) and poured all his cash into that - killing people’s wives, evil Bain, etc.

The moment Romney had a signature event where he came across as a good and intelligent person, that lie was exposed and the campaign collapsed.

Rush said it also - in his America, people don’t like liars. Obama is one of the worst liars I’ve ever seen in politics (how can he be worse than Clinton? But he is - amazing!) and the Libya question is exposing him bigtime. He was just too out there with it, and got caught too strong. I almost think he would have been better off if he had let Romney win that point, instead of trying twist it in front of millions.

Yes, even in NJ, the thought of watching O on the tv screen for another 4 years is nauseating to most. Obama had the look of a man who knows it’s OVER last night at the Al Smith dinner, despite the jokes. He’s already checked out.

I thought the exact same thing. He had the Libya point won or at least neutralized. But by throwing in that grade school grade lie (I used the word "terror" the next day), shows his to be a weaselly liar. A parser.

I just read that Hillbuzz piece. You are right. It is utterly brutal.

It is anecdotal evidence. But ....it is still very very powerful. It’s easy to say “the plural of anecdote is not data”. And that always seems to be a bubble bursting touchee. But if you think about it, it really isn’t. Of course anecdotes are data. The point is you just have to know which of them are merely anecdotal, and which are evidence of a larger trend. Therein lies the art.

And this particular anecdote rings true. You are so right. The dam is bursting.

I would not put any trust in Gallup’s numbers. Gallup is also report unemployment down to 7.3%

Continue to pay attention to Rasmussen who is not subject to radical swings. His numbers this morning will be 2/3rds post-debate numbers.

He has been the most accurate for the past few presidential campaigns.

And be suspicious even of him.

I’m still seeing Obama’s negative ad about Romney ending funding for Planned Parenthood this morning here in Florida.
