Here we are, listening to an attack, and we didn't do a thing. We've got aircraft in Europe, aircraft in the in the Gulf, and we have the capability of doing something, and we did nothing. But for the Vice President...My point is everybody, from the moment the attack happened, in our government, and the decision-making capability, knew that it was an attack, that it was organized, that it was violent, and that it had nothing, nothing to do with a riot, an assembly of people, or a film.
This was not even close to an intelligence failure. This was prescient, actionable information. And this woman testified to it, and everyone's giving everyone a pass.
The silence regarding the others who were present may be the only thing done correctly.
Thank you. Another lie?

PRESIDENT OBAMA: Well, let me, first of all, talk about our diplomats, because they serve all around the world and do an incredible job in a very dangerous situation. And these aren’t just representatives of the United States; they’re my representatives. I send them there, oftentimes into harm’s way. I know these folks, and I know their families. So nobody’s more concerned about their safety and security than I am.
So as soon as we found out that the Benghazi consulate was being overrun, I was on the phone with my national security team, and I gave them three instructions. Number one, beef up our security and and and procedures not just in Libya but every embassy and consulate in the region. Number two, investigate exactly what happened, regardless of where the facts lead us, to make sure that folks are held accountable and it doesn’t happen again. And number three, we are going to find out who did this, and we are going to hunt them down, because one of the things that I’ve said throughout my presidency is when folks mess with Americans, we go after them.

The President and the Vice President meet with Secretary of Defense
Oval Office
Closed Press
Obama was informed about the developments in Libya by his National Security Adviser Tom Donilon as the president began a weekly meeting Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey. The White House said Obama was kept apprised throughout the evening and then again Wednesday morning.
Doesn't it strike you as odd that the Pres., Sec. Def. and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, all of whom would have each been immediately notified, would continue their meeting and simply be "apprised" of an ongoing attack of unprecedented scale on a U.S. embassy?
A situation that would require a president's order to respond to and would require the knowledgeable input of the Sec. Def and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. They weren't even curious to use the resources at hand to watch an unprecedented attack on an embassy outpost? I hate to think what it would take to peak their interest.
Someone gave the order to send in the drone.
It was too little and there is no indication that 0bama had anything to do with it. His subsequent two weeks of bald-faced lying puts anything he says about it in doubt.
Panetta doesnt know where the chemical weapons are......remember he announced that just days before this attack or was it a few days after? I know it was recently.

He announced about Syrian chemical weapons after the attack.
There are scads of stories and videos (even more if you don’t go strictly English version)about Gaddafi’s weapons found unsecured when our gov’t was assuring everyone they had been secured. Yellow cake, missiles, chemical—LOTS and LOTS. Some of the finds were being raided before they could get officials there to take/secure it. Missiles carried across borders and some even buried along borders. Add to that many of Gaddafi’s nuclear and chemical scientist that were lost, too. It was a HUGE freakin’ mess on the weapons front and in part because Obama listened to the UN, no boots on the ground. Denmark wasn’t too happy about America taking a backseat, either:
Denmark Criticises Last Year’s NATO’s Libya Mission

NATO’s lack of military intelligence hampered Denmark’s bombing campaign in Libya in 2011, according to a confidential report.
According to the report obtained by Politiken newspaper through a freedom of information request, the Danish Air Force had insufficient intelligence to guide its bombing campaign in Libya last year under NATO leadership.
The problems arose after the Air Force was moved from American to NATO leadership on March 31 last year. Before the switchover, Denmark’s missions were guided by the US, which had superior military intelligence.

What about the Canuck he showed the interview CNN had of Cairo protests on the 11th and they weren’t there because of the video—it was the Blind Sheik. But CNN decided not to run that interview. How does all this fit together in the timeline.

The stupid craptastic video was obviously a setup/coverup. That video was pre-planned...what is the under story here. Why did they have that video ready to roll before this ever happened? I do small a Jarrett though.
And our gov’t and media caused all the other embassies to be attacked by blaming the video OVER and OVER again. Our gov’t spread the word with the help of the media. One would think they WANTED all of the embassies under siege. No?
All of the other flare ups happened after the Cairo Blind Sheik protest and the consulate terror attack in Libya.
Those frickin’ Cairo tweets were the striking of a match.
Yes, it sure is important. Its treason.
Its evidence for impeachment.

wonder if anyone else noticed that everyone sitting at that table is a member of a “minority”....Hmmmm? Why are they call minority when they are used in as a majority?
That’s what Socialist do best - eliminate their enemies through blackmail or a well placed shot in the back of the head...
Sir Robert Thompson’s book: Defeating Communist Insurgents — it’s all in there — a play-by-play tactics that Obama is using — and this was written in 1957!

Ah, but the Left tells us the Obama’s leisure and recreation for hours during the Benghazi attack was understandable, while Bush was unforgivably incompetent for waiting 7 minutes for his staff to prepare his travel plans and security.
we'll see if the 'R's are serious about changing the staus quo, or whether theyre afraid or content with not rocking the boat...
The Sheriff’s Deputy analogy is good, but not complete. In that case, any near units would have responed on their own, without orders from the Sheriff or Mayor.
In the Benghazi case, availaable military units (at see or in southern Italy) could NOT respond on their own, even if they were BEGGING for permission to do so. They can not cross another sovereign nation’s borders with a military force unless ONE MAN gives the order.
That one man was too busy coming up with a cover story (the video) to order a rescue attempt. He preferred dead Americans, to a situation that could have “spun out of control” a few weeks before the election.
Better a few dead Americans....to Obama, the cowardly traitor.
WHile the embassy was under attack, Obama’s first instinct was to “contain” the damage by coming up with the video cover story, instead of ordering a rescue mission.
If Romney doesn’t hammer Obama for his cowardice and gross dereliction of duty, I’ll have no respect for him.
It wasn’t 3am, it was 4 in the afternoon, until midnight. Then he went to bed, to rest up for “Las Vegas, baby!”
With the ambassador still MIA.
