To me, his first utterance of the words “act(s)of terror” followed by a long diatribe about condemning freedom of expression missused to attack a perfectly harmless religion isn’t recognition that the attack was planned by terrorists for reasons completely different than that BS little movie no one has seen. Because ‘terror’ was mentioned in no way technically translates to ‘terrorists’ with a planned agenda.
I think the mention of terror in the Rose Garden was just a fortuitous insertion by Obama overwhelmed by his broader words and deeds. But Romney made a tactical mistake by emphasizing a relatively narrow verbal point over the broader substance of the issue. The sad thing is that the superficial debate theatrics arising from this error is going to hinder any further needed discussion on this issue.
