Hollywood actresses Scarlett Johansson, Eva Longoria and Kerry Washington are featured condemning Republicans for their stance on abortion in a new political ad from the liberal group MoveOn.org.
The spot, released Monday and directed by noted filmmaker Rob Reiner, will air nationally and in the battleground states of Colorado and Virginia, the group said, adding it would air during shows primarily viewed by women.
"I want to talk to you about women," Johansson says at the beginning of the spot, followed by Washington saying, "And about Mitt Romney."
"Mitt Romney is for ending funding to Planned Parenthood," Longoria says, with Johansson chiming in, "Including cancer screenings."
The ad continues:
Washington: "He said he'd overturn Roe v. Wade."
Johansson: "We have Republicans trying to redefine rape."
Longoria: "Trying to force women to undergo invasive ultrasounds."
Johansson: "If you think that this election won't affect you and your life, think again."
Washington: "Vote."
Longoria: "Vote."
Johansson: "Vote for Barack Obama."
In a statement, Reiner said Romney, and his running mate Paul Ryan, would "eviscerate women's rights" if they're elected in November.
"We'd be talking about getting rid of abortion, birth control, access to health care screenings. As a husband, son and father, I can't stand by and let this happen," Reiner continued....

OH NO Romney lost the dumb ass vote, this is terrible, how can he survive without the dumb ass vote!!!
Isn’t it ironic that the ones who love abortion SO much have themselves, never been aborted. Perhaps if their mothers had them sucked out of the womb they would understand how horrific abortion really is
So tired of the politics of groin.
Call me when they want to talk about the Hollywood "casting couch".
What a sad legacy for a young woman to leave. Promoting easy access to killing your own child.
agreed. These actresses are so self-absorbed and self-centered that there is no room in their life for any other god but themselves. They have no consideration for any other person’s life but their own. However, if they were the unborn child, they would probably be kicking furiously if they were being aborted. It’s always so easy to focus just on one’s self rather than consider the lives around us that we impact. They put their own lifestyle, satisfaction, circumstances ahead of the “inconvenience” of pregnancy, and encourage other women to do the same.
I could go on, but I’m sure I’m probably preaching to the choir here at Freerepublic.
Hollywood has just lost their mind. They think their morals are in conjunction with what middle America thinks... They are wrong!
The sooner we STOP supporting these elitest airheads by NOT buying their videos, watching their shows or attending their movies or concerts, the sooner they lose their giant paychecks, their overpriced Hollyweird homes and their expensive, 1% lifestyle.
That's when they will learn that pi$$ing off at least 50% of their audience is a REALLY bad idea!!
In meathead’s case, I’d happily see federally funded testactomy.
“Turns out Romney doesn’t oppose contraception at all”.
I am suspicious of this “ad”. I can’t believe a legitimate Romney ad would confuse contraception and abortion.
