Hollywood actresses Scarlett Johansson, Eva Longoria and Kerry Washington are featured condemning Republicans for their stance on abortion in a new political ad from the liberal group MoveOn.org.
The spot, released Monday and directed by noted filmmaker Rob Reiner, will air nationally and in the battleground states of Colorado and Virginia, the group said, adding it would air during shows primarily viewed by women.
"I want to talk to you about women," Johansson says at the beginning of the spot, followed by Washington saying, "And about Mitt Romney."
"Mitt Romney is for ending funding to Planned Parenthood," Longoria says, with Johansson chiming in, "Including cancer screenings."
The ad continues:
Washington: "He said he'd overturn Roe v. Wade."
Johansson: "We have Republicans trying to redefine rape."
Longoria: "Trying to force women to undergo invasive ultrasounds."
Johansson: "If you think that this election won't affect you and your life, think again."
Washington: "Vote."
Longoria: "Vote."
Johansson: "Vote for Barack Obama."
In a statement, Reiner said Romney, and his running mate Paul Ryan, would "eviscerate women's rights" if they're elected in November.
"We'd be talking about getting rid of abortion, birth control, access to health care screenings. As a husband, son and father, I can't stand by and let this happen," Reiner continued....

THOSE are Plastic Surgery?
Washington: "He said he'd overturn Roe v. Wade."
He can't "overturn" it, even if he wanted to.
Johansson: "We have Republicans trying to redefine rape."
Democommies make redefinition an art: liberal, gay, teabag, marriage.... to name a few.
Longoria: "Trying to force women to undergo invasive ultrasounds."
LOL... "invasive" ultrasounds? Please explain. Even transvaginals aren't invasive.... not nearly so much so, as say, sticking a tube in your uterus and vaccuuming.
There is nothing in the platform about getting rid of birth control or "access to health care screenings" -- an out and out lie. Will the "factcheckers" check this? I doubt it.
Some independent group should go after that b!tch Longoria.
Something along the lines of...
“Eva Longoria supports gender-based abortions”
Don’t do much of that these days, the edema in my feet keep me from it. That was back around 2008 or 2009.
Combined IQ of 60 and I’m being kind.
. Always look for the weasel word. "Screening" can mean lots of things, maybe questions and/or breast exam. What PP does not do, but wants people to think that they do, is mammograms. They refer women to someone else for that.
Reiner said the same thing about every Republican. His track record of predicting the “eviscerating of women’s rights” is dismal.
They just pissed off half the country and decreased their own worth by half.
LLS
Ad paid for by Sluts for Obama...: )
Liam is a certain kind of Irishman, and they’re plenty tough. But as a German, you know what they say: “Most countries have an army, in Germany, the army has a country...”
LOL
Imagine how they would feel if their child got a say?
But it was the Germans who made up Most of the Union Army.
Not that Eva "Ditzy Doo" Longoria would know anything about the "White Mans Wars"
Notice that the ones featured in the ad are the ones that promote sexuality? Sexuality promotes promiscuity which in turn promotes unwanted pregnancy, which in turn promotes numerous financial and social problems.
Hollywood is just protecting their brand.
We are constantly lectured by liberals about holistic approach to living, the way nature intended. Free range chicken, organic vegetables, and other wholesome foods.
That as they sit there with their botox faces, fake boobs, and liposuctioned bodies and engage and promote the most unholy of lives.
her teeth?
No, I don’t think her teeth are fake either.
That’s easy. You have to eventually talk to them. The hotness is what keeps you hanging around in between the long episodes of tedium.
And college-age voters believe every word. Conservative PACs need to counter this type of ad, not just write it off as "dingbats preaching to dingbats."
