Elizabeth Warren defender: “...I would no longer view the case against her as weak”
Legal Insurrection ^ | September 27, 2012 | William A. Jacobson

Posted on 09/28/2012 6:25:55 AM PDT by PJ-Comix

Soon after my original post, Elizabeth Warren’s law license problem, Mark Thompson at The League of Ordinary Gentlemen wrote a post taking an opposite view, No, Elizabeth Warren Did Not Engage in the Unauthorized Practice of Law.

That post by Thompson was cited far and wide, including at Memeorandum as well as at friendly conservative blogs which wanted to present the case for Warren to provide balance.

In light of my post this morning that Warren represented a Massachusetts client in Massachusetts on an issue related to Massachusetts law, Thompson has concluded in a new post today:

It begins to fall apart for Fauxahontas. But wait! It's even worse for her since Professor Jacobson has a new post about how the Cherokee Princess was working on at least 10 private legal matters in MA in 2002.

Perhaps Fauxahontas will hire WILLIAM RIVERS PITT as an ethics consultant to give her advice on how to overcome this. I mean he lives on a couch only a few blocks away from Harvard...or is Bukowski’s where he lives the remainder of his life closer?

Thompson misses the point of his own discovery. It is not that Warren did or did not technically break a law. It’s that everything she claims to be is just bullshit.

Bullshit is not a technicality. (pardon me mods, but it’s tough to be accurate and family friendly when discussing liberals.....)

I appreciate Thompson’s honesty. How very un-Eric Holder of him.

INDEED! How can anyone believe a single thing she says? Her entire professional life is a fraud.

My favorite part of the Elizabeth Warren scandals are always her responses. She gets that deer in the headlights look and just starts sputtering idiotic nonsense that only the people at Democratic Underground can understand.

I have no idea. I've never been to Boston, have no intention in going, but if I ever found myself there, I'd never visit Bukowski's for fear I'd trip over Pitt when walking in.

I’m wondering if Pitt is still “working” as a bouncer or did he find the fake bouncer business too tiring? He only did it to establish his blue collar creds.

Wasn’t that at least a few years ago? Maybe around the last election or even before. Time flies when you’re unaware of the feckless in this world...

Nowadays Pitt mostly passes the time lying on a couch watching sports on the tube and urging others on the Web to attend the OWS protests that he AVOIDED even though they were walking distance from him.

Does his wife work? She must be a pretty complacent woman if she works and he just lies around. I wouldn’t get away with that here...

A story from last night’s banquet... A boy with a shovel was digging a hole in his backyard when his neighbor saw him from over the fence. “Why are you digging that hole, Bobby?” asked the neighbor. “I’m burying my goldfish.” replied the boy. “Well, why do you need such a big hole for a goldfish?” asked the neighbor. “I wouldn’t except for your darned cat!” replied the boy...

No way would I get away with that. My wife manages a retail store. When she gets home, dinner is ready. And, I keep myself busy with Kiwanis, American Legion, and maintaining a few websites on a monthly basis. Not to mention other chores and obligations. Being retired, I feel obligated to keep up my share of duties around here. I have the time. I have the will. Obviously, he doesn’t.
