The military is going downhill, very fast. Good and honorable men are being forced out and replaced with "snot nosed punks" who can't fix an aircraft engine to save their lives.

It's no longer important to be able to do your job; you only have to to do # of situps, # number of push ups, and run the 1.5 mile in a certain time. God forbid if you should not be as fast as someone half your age.

Is my bitterness showing too much? I'm mad, and I'm sad, at what our once proud military is becoming. It's no longer, "the few, the proud."

I’m hearing the same thing from my son. He is pretty bummed. Mil service got considerably better after Clinton left, I’m hoping for the same when the current WH occupant gets the boot.
