For the sake of republican majority in senate, I hope Todd Akin wins. However, if he loses, GOP has given up an easily winnable seat. Wonder if Todd Akin has any future in GOP after that or will he start a 3rd party.

It appears that the anti-Akin Republican Establishment has taken a page from the anti-Romney Free Republic playbook.

Post election results will no doubt read something like "Akin loses....big winners are Claire McCaskill and Harry Reid." A-N-D "Romney loses....big winners are barak obama, Eric Holder, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and a more liberal Supreme Court".
