It’s a pretty old word is what it is.

...and one I wished, personally, I used less often myself.. .but I am what I am...me and Popeye!

Somehow I refrain from it in front of my Pastor and our congregation, that goodness.

It’s not the word itself that causes problems, it’s the people that turn it into a problem...Take SHIT, for example...Up until about seven or eight years ago, I had no idea that it’s really an old acronym for “Ship High In Transit”. A merchant ship would have cargo items marked to make sure they were placed high atop the load being shipped. A guy on the dock would say, “Okay, you scurvy dogs, let’s get that SHIT off the f*cking boat now before it rains!”

From now on, I will not use any of the seven words you can’t say on TV or the radio or the internet or in my car, or at the bar or...NOT AT THE BAR???

We’re in bigger trouble than I thought.
