The writer feared his life being wasted by a politician ... that is my fear for my two boys who are nearing military age. I’m sure if they joined up or were drafted they would be proud to serve ... but the thought of them being sent to some God-forsaken Armpit-istan country for political reasons makes me want to cry.

My son just enlisted in the USMC. Since he was very little, he has wanted to be a US Marine. My late father was a hero, an Army officer, and I could always support my boy’s ambition. But now I’m afraid this homosexual druggie Muslim in the White House is going to send him to die for some stupid p.r. screw-up Obama has made.

I pray a lot.

My son and I have had the talk. Never enlist in the service of evil.

Leftists are evil.

My son will not be leftist war material.

He is learning trades that do not require large debt.

I hear you loud and clear, Cloverfarm.

When will all this madness end...

Will it end?

I've got an 8 year-old and 12-year old to cry and pray for.

I guess there will always be war...still we can pray and support our troops as best we can.
