That was quite shockingly positive.

Right...We used to call it the American way of doing business.
________________________________________________________
Unfortunately since the advance of liberalism and crony Capitalism it is not the way or American business. It may rightly be called the “old way of American business”.
When I first got a job that showed me how business worked in a small company my eyes were opened. The owner, a Catholic, went way beyond what could be expected to make customers happy and do what is right even when it was not “right” but only good.
It forever changed the way I look at businessmen. It was largely because of him that I went into business later in life starting my own company and applying the principles that I learned from him and The Gospel of Jesus CHrist.
He passed away this year, nearly 90 years old. We remained good friends for all these years. He was a man that I had the greatest respect and admiration for. He indeed followed the “Old Way of American Business. James Hallahan Baker, R.I.P.

Romney is principled. Doesn't pass the laugh test. LOL...
FR becomes more unrecognizable by the day.

Did you even watch the video? Or are you just spewing out of hatred for the man?
I have always been one that didn’t like Romney or I could have gone even further than that statement. I live in Massachusetts, so I felt he was part of the establishment. As time has gone on (lately), I have made it a point to see things from his perspective. I’ve grown to actually like him lately. This recent video has shed even more light on who he actually is.
Watch or don’t watch. But unless you are speaking from actually viewing, you might as well not comment at all. Just my 2 cents!

“Spewing out hatred”? LOL...hardly. I was simply commenting on the absurdity of calling Mitt Romney “principled.” In fact , he is one of the least principled men in American political history.
It’s so sad that we now have to state something so obvious here.

Romney is principled. If you know a lot about Mitt Romney and his character, then can you tell us if at this moment (today, right now), is Mitt pro-life, or pro-abortion?
Does Mitt support the GOP party platform on abortion?

I just finished watching the video piece and I was completely shocked that it was incredibly positive. I have some concerns about Mitt's pro-life stance but when you see the Dem convention, and how it was an abortion worship service, there is no doubt in my mind that it will be like daylight and dark concerning the respect for life with Romney as president. If we take a stroll down memory lane we must remember that George H. W. Bush was suspect when he became pro-life (after talking to pro-life leaders before the GOP convention in 1980). But while the elder Bush went back on his “read my lips” pledge, he remained pro-life during his presidency. My question to all is, do we want Barack Obama choosing the next couple of supreme court justices or one who at least tells us he is pro-life and one that pro-life leaders will have access to in the choosing process?

And what do you mean lots??? Most people get there news on the internet or cable/satellite television. To suggest that CBS news (particularly their morning show) is anything other than propaganda and trash is ludicrous. If that is where you get your news you ought to stop. Try radio or FR or even Debka but definitely NOT CBS

I wasn't necessarily responding to you directly but I will simply put what he has said. He says that he is opposed to abortion with the exception of the life of the mother, rape, and incest. This is not my view, since I would only say the life of the mother, but I still would ask,do we really want Barack Obama over Mitt Romney when it comes to their views of abortion? Concerning the platform I would assume that he would agree with the exception of rape or incest. Like I said, I would like him to be stronger on this issue but when it comes to whether or not to reelect Obama the answer is obvious!

Well, you are wrong about Romney’s position on abortion, but you are correct that he rejects the pro-life party platform, he throws it out entirely.

Are you supporting Barack Obama? Do you want him to be president for four more years? That is what we are going to get if conservatives do not go and vote for Romney? If not, why not? I take no back seat to anyone in my committment to the right to life, but I will not let the wicked Obama be reelected if I can help it!

Interesting that you couldn’t correctly answer something as simple as the question in post 27.

No I don’t get my news from CBS. I know some older people who cannot afford cable or satellite who DO get there news from the local channels. I get my news from FOX or the internet.

Easy, some of us stay up on such things like presidential candidates, that is why some of us here have a deep knowledge on Mitt Romney, like 6 or 7 years of it.
Don’t you read the threads here?
