Truth is the new hate speech.Creeping Sharia
We [the people] own this country.Clint Eastwood
I feel like I ought to start out each of my articles anymore with a disclaimer, or caveat saying something along the lines of WARNING: The contents of this article are to be considered null and void in the event of a Reichstag Fire, false flag event, and/or an invasion by Russian Spetsnaz in collusion with Northcom,or words to that effect.
My intent is not to make light of such concerns, as God knows we have reason enough to be more than a bit edgy these dayswhat with the Patriot Act, NDAA, the torrent of Obama EOs (Executive Orders), various government agencies stockpiling millions of rounds of ammo, and other such things.
Personally, I am what you might call a cynical optimistI hope for the best, but plan for the worst. I keep myself open to the idea that the US can peacefully pull itself out of the colossal mess that it is currently mired inbut I have enough guns, ammo, freeze dried food and whatnot to open a small survivalist store.
Be that as it maythe main topic that I wish to address in this article is my decision to back the Romney/Ryan ticket, and the fallout from that. Contrary to what some of you may think, I have not rushed off and enlisted in the Dark Side. I am as opposed to the Big Bank/ Big Corporation/Big Government/Big War cabal as ever...

You’re no Christian Conservative. You’re a whining cry baby with delusions of persecution. You give REAL Christian pastors a bad name.
I say you’re a fake.
You are not the only one who stands before the Throne of Grace making such accusations of those who will not vote for your political savior.
I’m glad you think I’m a fake. It pleases me.
It makes Jesus’ words about how this world will view Him and those who hold His testimony, all the more real. Even from those that claim to follow God.
Certainly the Pharisees and Saducees saw Jesus that way - as a fake and imposter. They even exclaimed He had a demon.
Nothing new under the sun.
But I am pleased I am counted worthy to received such revulsion and insult from you and your pals.
Please continue.
“Sure sounds like you’re hoping and praying for an 0bama victory to me.”
Sure sounds like you’ve confirmed INVAR’s posts to me.
Furc, obama supporting waste of bandwidth.
As well as pretentious newbie troll with a mis-adjusted sense of FR entitlement. I won’t be bothered responding to jerks like you anymore soooo flame away with your cliched nonsense.
“But as for Obama and Romney, there is so little difference from character to policy”
How many moons in your sky?
I hope you’re not paid on commission because you won’t change a single mind Obot.
Get back on your meds. If you’re not on meds?
GET SOME.
As to helping Obama win by default, it does make a difference, as you're helping provide him with a mandate to continue down the evil road he's on.
After what you've seen Boehner & Co. pass and push through for the past dozen years, you're going to rely solely on those people to 'do the right thing'? While we must get rid of the RINO's, I have absolutely no faith that the pubbies in the House and Senate will continue their spineless ways and the rats will continue to push and shove through Obama's agenda, just as they have been for the past 3 1/2 years.
Contrary to your delusions, there is quite a difference between an EVIL Marxist who's part of a party which has thrice denied god and a Rino, even if a liberal one, which does not belong to that party and where there at least remains more of a possibility than your faith in Obama, that Romney would be guided by patriots who love God and country as opposed to the terrorist, muslim advisers that whisper in Obama's ear.
You and I have have been united on many things.
Even when JimRob was formally anti-Romney, people who were like-minded did not typically start these kinds of threads. The Pro-Romney people can’t go out and find people who are choosing between Obama and Romney on some other web site or even in their local community. No, they have to continue to bash those who are allies on everything else, but cannot or will not vote for Romney.
I am in Illinois, my vote wouldn’t help Romney even if I were free to give it to him. I am not.
I am sure that you have been on the receiving end of insults and slurs because you supported principle over party nominee. Restating the insult that I support Obama because I will not vote for the progenitor of his healthcare destruction is neither as attractive as a Dale Cranegie approach to win friends and influence people nor a Ciceronian approach to motivate people through the sheer power of effective rhetoric.
I understand people who are willing to vote for Romney to get rid of Obama. I ask you to understand that a ROmney-controlled Republican party means the end of any formal conservative party in the U.S. for an extended period of time. We have no mechanism to hold his feet to the fire. I am not sure he would care if we did.
Rehashing the same arguments over again is unlikely to change my mind, nor BlackElk’s nor any others. It does expend needless energy into something that will neither help Romney nor hurt Obama.
I am not going to rehash many details of my oft-stated opinions, except to simply state that if we are willing to give Romney our votes when he has nothing to earn them, we will get nothing but Romneys thrown at us for ever, and we will forever have a choice between Dem-Alinsky trained and Rep-Alinsky trained.
Excellently stated and perfect.
Thank you.
The insults and condescension and persecution of those who stand on faith and principle to refuse a vote for Romney, covers not only we individuals, but it is the reasons and principles themselves that end up being attacked, which says everything a person of faith and principle needs to know about those doing the continuous venomous assaults.
They act no differently than the drones for Obama and the MarxoFascist Democrats, who attack us for the same exact reasons.
And I cannot tell by the behavior, those who are Obama drones and those who insist everyone votes for Romney. They act exactly the same, and throw the same insults and invectives.
Yet they call US the O-bots.
That is because projection is all they got. They are so afraid of Obama, they will attack the faith and principles of others who will not betray that faith or principle to vote for Romney.
Tuesday at the RNC illustrated that fact with perfect clarity. Yet these same Romney people are engaging in the same sickening attack behavior as those who worship Obama do.
Voting for Romney betrays Conservatism. Voting for Romney betrays biblical Christian principles. Voting for Romney ensures Conservatism is politically irrelevant now, and in the future.
Marxist Statist tyranny or Ruling Class Statist tyranny?
I choose neither. I choose that which supports and upholds my values, faith and principles.
Obama and Romney's records are antithetical and anathema to every value and principle I hold to.
Well stated. I also don't hold any ill against those who feel they need to vote for Romney due the present Marxist in office. I stated as much on another thread when one of these Romney-pushers threw JimRob's statement about holding his nose to reluctantly vote Romney due Obama. I don't begrudge him his vote. However, the Romney pushers do indeed begrudge us ours if it is not for their chosen political savior. The title of this thread alone reveals that fact.
I draw the line on those who go berserk on those of us who state we are not going to vote for Romney because our principles dictate we vote in concert with our faith and principles.
My focus is reminding ourselves that we are in this mess BECAUSE of surrendered and compromised principles for the sake of expedience. The American Christian church is lukewarm and it got that way precisely because our faith and principles were something that could be waved aside when it was convenient or expedient to satisfy the dictates of the flesh.
Your choice of scripture is excellent also, but cautioning against those that would use it to suggest the dissensions and animosities are due to those beholden to their principles and faith refusing to go along with the herd.
Scripture is clear we should not force someone to betray their conscience and commit what they would consider to be sin (I Corinthians 8). Yet we read with regularity now, that refusal to do so, counts us among the enemy. To which I say - so be it then. God comes first, before family, before country - lest we make those idols before Him.
“As you well know, your post was a public post in a public forum.”
I read your post wrong. Nevertheless, I don’t really care if my opinion offends you. You can go sell yourself to the GOPe. And I’m going to keep pointing out the reality of the situation.
Keep working for Obama.
But count me and other loyal patriotic Americans out.
“But count me and other loyal Obama/Romney voters out.”
There, fixed it for you.
Your latest post doesn't disappoint those low standards you've all set for yourselves.
Hypocrite, which one of us was the first to accuse the other of supporting Obama because we don’t kiss Romney’s and the GOP’s ***?
Pretty sure it was you and the other MittBots around here, though you did come in a bit late.
