Eastwood was Rowdy? I did not realize that.
Used to watch “Rawhide” as a kid, but all I can tell you about it now was that Ward Bond was the wagon master. I can’t remember what the premise was or any of the plots.
But I remember Bond would say, “Head ‘em up. Move ‘em out” . And, of course, I remember the theme song.
Excellent observation. Fingers crossed.
You are so right!
Ward Bond was on Wagon Train. Great westerns back in them thar days. lol
Rawhide is an American Western series that aired for eight seasons on the CBS network on Friday nights, from January 9, 1959[1] to September 3, 1965, before moving to Tuesday nights from September 14, 1965 until January 4, 1966, with a total of 217 black-and-white episodes. Starring Eric Fleming and Clint Eastwood, the series was produced and sometimes directed by Charles Marquis Warren who also produced early episodes of Gunsmoke.
Spanning seven and a half years, Rawhide was the fifth-longest-running American television Western, beaten only by eight years of Wagon Train, nine years of The Virginian, fourteen years of Bonanza, and twenty years of Gunsmoke.

bttt
This election is not about Romney, it’s all about OBAMA.
Oops! Looks like I got my shows mixed up. I am remembering “Rawhide” now, I think.
Okay, “Wagon Train” must have been tales of settlers heading out West in their Conestoga wagons.
“Rawhide”, I think, was about cowboys and their challenges while driving herds of cattle.
So, did I remember correctly that Ward Bond would say, “Head ‘em up. Move ‘em out.”? Or did Rowdy Yates say that?
From my earlier link:
“Head t’em out Move ‘em out’ is what Eric Fleming, who played the role of Gil Favor (the boss), from Rawhide would say.
“Nice try, sweetie.”
I am not your sweetie.
“What do you and napscorp....whatever her/his user name is get together and brain storm all these opinions you post. You both say the exact same thing in most threads.”
I don’t know “napscorp” or any name close to that. I consult with no one when I post.
I merely said I thought Clint upstaged Romney - the “chair” is the main topic since then, not Romney.
I don’t care who you vote for - that’s your choice.
Okay, thanks. I guess my TV memory is not too reliable. :)
