Thats it. You can shut down the convention right now. Its over. Romneys camp just shut down all dissent, and they rigged it that way. Twitter is awash in angry tweets from people who know this was a sham. John Boehner actually wielded the gavel without a hint of a tear as he said the ayes have it. They didnt have it, and I think it was pretty clear that even if they did, this was a set-up. I have news for the GOP establishment. I am voting in November. I will vote for all the down-ballot candidates who are worthy of my support. I am not going to vote for Mitt Romney. Dont look at the page as though youve read the words of a man pledging treason. It was not I who rigged the primaries. It was not I who rigged the convention. It was not I who rigged the rules committee. All of those things are actual treasons against the conservatives in the America, and all of those things were carried out by Mitt Romney and his legion. I am a small matter to it, but I will have my say. If the Republican party wishes to commit suicide by Romney, they may do so, but they will do so without my help in the matter. John Boehner may have enjoyed his moment in despotic pleasure, and Reince Priebus may have been doing his masters bidding, but Mitt Romney had it within his power to put a stop to all of this, but when tested by circumstance, Mitt Romneys fatal character flaws prevailed.
The Republican Party is dead. Its time we get on with this convention and consider it a funeral. Youre witnessing a party that will now fall, and Im going to help it on its way. Some of you diehard Republicans who read this blog may wish to find other haunts. Its not going to be pretty. When I saw John Sununu begin to surface with regularity on Fox News over the last few weeks, I suspected the fix was in. His conduct of the RNC Rules Committee on Tuesday demonstrates that fact.
I am a person who refuses to separate his convictions from his actions and choices. Mitt Romney could have done many things to gain my support, and the support of many others, but rather than do so, he seized control. He used all his pals and buddies to take over and make the voices of grass-roots Republicans and Tea Party conservatives silent. Some will urge that we remain focused on November, and I agree, but my focus is irrevocably changed. I am out to defeat the GOP establishment in any and every form that may take.
Note to conservatives: I will understand if you swallow your pride and your principles and vote for Mitt Romney, but do not come to this site to chastise me or others who refuse to join you. Your argument had consisted of convincing us that the Romnoids wouldnt behave this way, and at precisely that moment when they needed to prove it, they behaved precisely as we dissenters knew that they would. Save it.
Romney had his chance. Today, he blew it.
For the record, it's not my blog. I don't have the required skill to do something like that.
Since you're from Kentucky, your non-vote won't matter, and you can rail like a first grader that didn't get his nap, but people that live in swing states need to really look at the results of their selfish, feel good, childish protest. You spouted paragraph after paragraph and all you said that since the mean old nasty party didn't give you what you wanted, you would hold your breath and turn blue and not vote for Romney.
By you own admission, you have no principles, since you said that could have been "won over if".
If Mitt and the RNC had done what you wanted, "what ever the hell that might be", you would have voted for Romney.
Loud mouthed, but very well written, you are just another hypocrite, cry baby, that is taking their ball and going home.
Next.
I tend to post articles that I believe would be of interest to readers of this site. That doesn't mean I necessarily agree with them.
But thanks for your comments.
You consider Paulites Tea Party?
I await your comments on the blog you posted.
Whatever they are - they are morons and dolts. There is nothing “pure” or “principled” about handing obama 4 more years to destroy this country. NOTHING
These delusional FREAKS can try to convince themselves that they occupy some higher moral ground, but they don’t. They occupy the sewer along w obama and his gang of criminals, layabouts, communists, marxists, etc,.
Yes he would... He had a lot of Mormons in his administration.... He called the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, America’s Choir..
LOL....Not really related, but it does affect my viewpoint in some ways...I live in a town where every major sports team is always waiting and hoping for "next time," and "next time" never comes.
I see the down ticket vote as more important than the Presidential vote. I don't care if 0bama wins, but we must take the House and Senate in CONSERVATIVES. I do view this as being an effective way of stopping the 0bama agenda and the RINO agenda. So we send legislation up to repeal say ...0bamacare? 0bama vetos it as expected. But, we then have the opportunity to overturn the veto.
Under RINO Romney...well things just might be a little soft around the middle, there will be less 'fire' to get things corrected, and just as the pace under RINO Romney to move liberally forward will be slow...so will the corrective legislation be slow. And this will be Romney's downfall.
No can do.
The fact that you even asked that question demonstrates why you have no business being on this forum.
To these freaks - NOW IS EXACTLY THE TIME TO SEND A MESSAGE - since they can enact the most damage by handing obama 4 more years since their little conservative unicorn in the sky did not ride down on a rainbow from the heavens.

Yup. I hate to tell them I told them so, but I told them so.
You want a bellyful of Romney hemlock?
You vote how you like..I will vote to defeat the Marxist Obama.
Time for R and R
The author seems well-connected, but the article itself strikes me as somewhat of a knee-jerk reaction.
That said, the thing I’m most concerned about is the ability now of the RNC to change its rules between conventions. As far as I can tell, this is an unprecedented step that has nothing to do with the normal, inside baseball squabbles.
Can it be used to squash potential rivals in the event of a Romney Presidency? The answer is above my pay grade.
I prefer to take my chances with Romney brew..I KNOW what Obama has served up to this nation..
No, but right now, they are necessary allies against the corrupt, decrepit GOP-E.
Palin: Worst thing GOP can do is marginalize Ron Paul supporters
I did notice that during the call of states, the bulk of Iowa’s votes went to Ron Paul. Rick Santorum won that caucus followed by Governor Romney. That vote did not make sense and did not seem fair. What actually happened here? Was this rule change aimed at Ron Paul’s people or conservatives in general? Inquiring minds want to know.
Yeah. Some Paultards got neutered.
Ain't that a shame?
