If it is one state versus the feds, we will lose. You need to recognize this attack when it comes, it may not look like what you expect. Be prepared to wage asymetrical warfare and win on another front. (Hint: Louisiana is where the concept of home schooling was born.)
Your Post #24 would be an example of one of several small “skirmishes” that I referred to.
The next Civil War, Revolution, etc. will not be an all out organized war (IMO). As soon as it started to look like war, I believe MOST or our soldiers and LEO would not kill citizens (armed or otherwise) to take geographical control of objectives (battle plans).
If soldiers were told to defend against “home grown insurgents,” they might defend themselves violently. But I cannot envision a scenario where a state, or the citizens thereof, in the midst of sessession pursuit would attack a target that needed National Guard defense. I believe the winning tactic would be to ignore and disregard the FED fiscally and regulatorily and defend your citizens from federal enforcement.
Again, this is only my opinion. And I do acknowldedge there would be some violence that broke out between the most well intended citizens and soldiers that were both only doing what they were ordered or believed in.
Once invasion and battle plans started being drawn up, the violent quelling of the insurrection would find the press and soldiers would have to decide if they are citizens first or soldiers first. Seeing how many of our soldiers today value freedom and individual liberty over a leftist socialist state, I think most would do the right thing.
