I am not happy about Romney's response, which is weaker compared to his earlier statement that he would veto the Dream Act. However, I am more concerned about the reaction of the Republican leadership in Congress--McConnell, Boehner, and Cantor--who should have called for Obama's impeachment for failing to uphold federal law.

The Reps--all of them--are afraid to discuss the immigration issue. They view it as a distraction and off message. It is all about the economy and jobs. They could have used the backdoor amnesty to go after Obama on the issue of jobs. 1.8 million "Dreamers" will have their status legalized and be issued work permits, thereby competing with US citizens for jobs.

He should have been making mincement of Obama and making ads of the lines of illegal aliens to use to show that Obama is not acting as our president but a community organizer...
