This election and the differing principles posted by the nominees
stances on the critical issues of the day, has the makings for a pivotal election unlike any we have seen in our life time. Reagan-Carter comes the closests...but Carter, as hrrific and atrocious as he was, was nothing compared to Obama.

"Sorry, Barrack Hussein Obama...it is not going to work. The American people are awake, and when it comes to America, her prosperity, her liberty, and her goodnes and greatness...with the help and grace of God, and without any thanks whatsoever to you and your ilk's absolutely failed policies, we know that when this thing is turned around, we will be able to bow our heads, and thank God and know, that with His help...YES WE DID BUILD THAT!" From your lips to God's ears...amen!

This is the mindset of those who pull Obama's strings:
"the soul...it must be broken...and the man is yours, you won't need a whip, he'll bring it to you and ask to be whipped...Make man feel small...kill his aspiration...kill integrity...you stop all incentive to....excellence...just say that reason is limited...suspend reason and...anything goes...not judgment but public polls...no individuality will be permitted...kill the individual."

These actions will create, in relative short order, a massive turn around in America's economic situation producing a literal hiring bonanza. Suc a turnaround will probably start with the enrgy sector, but extending from there. As with Reagan, the difference will be so marked as to lead to a complete laandslide election in 2016 as Americans vote for their own prosperity and freedoms which will so amply be on display at the end of the first four years of a Romney/Ryan administration. Not so fast...
I spoke with a commerical banker and via Dodd-Frank they are scared of writing loans because they do not know if they will violate regulations that haven't been written. So does it repealed ASAP? One would hope...
In another conversation with a noted American that I cannot name, we discussed "the turnaround". Again it may take time was their answer (and not investment advice here) those in on the front of it might do rather well if they are willing to take the risk.
Obama and company have so FUBAR'd so many sectors of the economy and the way even goverment operates, I am skeptical of a massive turnaround on a dime, and I don't think we should get peoples hopes up only to have them dashed and hammer Romney/Ryan in the mid-terms.
I am not skeptical of "Capital" going off strike after 1/21/2012 however....

Amen, my FRiend...that is precisely what they seek to accomplish by appealing to the worst traits of human nature to ensnare our citizens to their wretched shackels.

Agreed that it will take time...but if they jumpp start everything with energy in a big way, and quickly move to remove oppresive regulations and lower corporate taxes as they promise...I believe it will occur much more quickly than we otherwise might think. A LOT of businesses are sitting on investments and waiting to see if Obama goes away...if he does, and if Romney shows the signs of doing what he promises, they will open the coffers rapidly.

What's so chilling about this little snippet is that it
precisely reflects the intent of the monsters in and beyond the white House. My corollary to this is that it is nothing less than a reflection of the will to power - the desire to rule and ultimately, to kill without conscience or consequence.
This is the spectre that haunts the modern world.
People here in America have no idea just how precarious their existence has become. No idea at all.

It will take a decade(s) to recover, the economic numbers are just horrendous both here and globally. Japan, Europe, US are all bankrupt from Eurosocialism and Keynesianism.
Certainly Obama must go, but Romney is not a god.

It is curious to see John Huntsman on that list, since he is one of the featured speakers at the Democratic Convention this year.

Jeff, this race is much more like 1940 ~ Roosevelt vs. Willkie ~ than any seen since.
The key to winning, as always, is to get your party base to TURN OUT TO VOTE for you. If you can do that you will almost always beat the other guy.
If you can't, you lose.
So, is there some reason Republicans should vote for a Democrat that we don't know about? Must be a secret here.

The only real polls that count are the voting.
I am speaking of the ones who created the largest mid-term turnaround election in history in 2010.
The people who ensured that their Governor, who was doing exactly the opposite of what Obama prescribed, remained in office in Wisconsin by a larger majority than the elected him there in the 1st place.
Thoes people...those Americans.

I disagree. I think it is much closer to Carter-Reagan in 1980.
In that case the base did turn out, but a whole bunch of people crossed over and voted against Carter who was messing up so bad that the impact was felt by all Americans...and most of them responded accordingly. Those folks who were democrats became known as the "Reagan Democrats".
As bad as Obama's record is. As many peope, even people who voted for him initially, as have been hurt by his policies and his refusal to not only back off away from them, but to double down on them after the 2010 elections...given that hurt that is being felt across the nation, I believe we have the chance to see the same thing happen in 2012.
Three months will tell us.

Not True. This was debunked quickly by Mark Levin and his daughter on Twitter.
