I’ve heard the same about McDonalds coffee, though never had it myself.
If anyone has any Dairy Barns around (I call it Lazy barn cause you don’t have to get out of your car), they have excellent coffee as well.
They are selling it now to the public so you can make it at home.

McDonalds’ coffee—no comparison. But if you can stand the wait, their lattes aren’t awful.
