We, as a nation, have actually created the mess we are in, by trying to use the US Government to fix problems which the people should be repairing on their own! ALL Democrats and many Republicans have been peddling the "don't worry, the government will fix it" meme for YEARS!

This is not just a failure of government intervention, this is a cumulative failure of years of inadequate parenting (of which I am guilty) and failure to instill basic morality beyond - don't hurt someone else's feelings! Many families raised their children on the one-liners like "treat others like you want to be treated," "judge not, lest you be judge" and "all you need is love." But, just like I failed on many occasions, these parents didn't provide any good context to these nice sound-bites! The younger generations have decided that "judge not, lest you be judged" means that we aren't supposed to tell someone they are ruining their lives or making bad decisions or hurting others with their decisions. That is their version of "judging." They fail to see that their failure to provide good advice is a LACK OF LOVE.

My niece told me that I was judgmental because I don't agree with same-sex marriage. I asked her if she would allow a convicted child molester to babysit her children. She said, of course not. I said, that sounds pretty judgmental. She said that was different and got upset and refused to continue our discussion. She either REFUSED, or was TOO BLIND, to see the parallels and symmetry of that comparison. And that is what we are dealing with in America!

Your niece is a product of public school/media indoctrination. Tolerance and Multiculturalism/ Feminism /homosexuality were the Marxist’s camel’s nose.

Tolerance is the highest Virtue taught in schools since the 70’s-—it is a total flip of the Virtues the Founders said was necessary for a Free Republic.

Public schools teach that you have to tolerate evil, or you are evil. That is what actually happened in Nazi Germany-—the people allowed evil to happen and they looked the other way.....You have to FIGHT evil—as Pastor Bonhoeffer noted—Silence in the face of evil, is itself, evil.

We see tolerance of evil—such as sodomy-—become a Right when Tolerance is the ONLY Virtue.

When children are indoctrinated and conditioned through BF Skinner techniques—like done in American schools-—they can not hear Truth if you hit them over the head with it....because of the cognitive dissonance instilled in them in elementary school. Classical education was dumped and social engineering is the norm now. Their fundamental knowledge is ALL LIES. It becomes ingrained-—where they see Up is Down-—and they are unable to determine Right from Wrong—intellectually-—it is always what “FEELS” good.

How did this travesty happen????? Well, John Stuart Mill warned us over a hundred years ago——in On Liberty. You can never have government in charge of education-—they will never educate—they will make slaves of the populace.
