It's going to be Brunner. The other two are professional politicians. He's not.

One of the things that concern me about both Durant and Hoekstra is their hard “moderate” establishment supporters. Saul Anuzis is a Durant supporter and Mitt Romney supports Hoekstra.

None of them are flawless so I really don’t have any preference and still haven’t made a decision yet myself and I have no problem supporting any of them in the general over Stabenow. I suspect the nominee will be Hoekstra because he has the biggest guns on board (Cain, Santorum, Romney, etc)

Two thumbs up for Clark Durant, but only because that’s all the thumbs I have.

I'm still undecided in the senate race and it doesn't look like there is much of a challenge to Walberg from either side in the 7th district. I will be pulling for Hoogandyke against Upton but I don't vote there.

If it’s “on to Durant” then we’d better get going! Someone needs to contact Palin, and quickly.

Sorry, I have to disagree with Sarah Palin on this one.

Sarah Steelman is not the conservative she portrays herself to be. The greatest example of this is that while she was in the state Senate and as State Treasurer, she supported the trial lawyers (her husband, David, is a trial lawyer) and did NOT support TORT reform. It was only after she began running for US Senate that she started claiming to support TORT reform.

Secondly, after she lost the gubernatorial primary to Kenny Hulshof in 2008, she "pouted" like an angry child, refused to endorse and/or work for him, and only reluctantly began to support him the final weekend prior to the general election.

She's not the conservative she claims to be - she's a moderate. I do not trust her and will be voting for someone else.
