The family said it never happened.

It would make sense that Mitt would not remember something that never happened.

You are a gossip monger. Nothing more. All you have is gossip. Not one shred of actual evidence.

You must be so proud to be an old woman gossip.

LOL, you are making things up.

Witnesses saw it, and Mitt refused to deny doing it.

The sister just didn’t know about the incident, as she says and the family just doesn’t like the way the victim is portrayed.

“Christine Lauber, who is a few years older than John Lauber, was at college when the alleged incident happened, and said the brother and sister were “doing our own thing” at the time.
When ABC News showed her the story, Christine Lauber’s eyes welled up with tears and she became agitated.
She described her brother as a “very unusual person.”
“He didn’t care about running with the peer group,” Christine Lauber said. “What’s wrong with that?”
Betsy Lauber, one of John Lauber’s three sisters, spoke with ABC News Tuesday night regarding the accuracy of the story.
“The family of John Lauber is releasing a statement saying the portrayal of John is factually incorrect and we are aggrieved that he would be used to further a political agenda. There will be no more comments from the family,” she said.
She did not say specifically how the Washington Post story was incorrect.
Romney has since apologized for what he said were “pranks” in high school but has said he doesn’t remember the specific event.”

The bigger point is the progressive liberal media went all out with the bully story on just about every type of media outlet. They declared him a bully amidst the family denials. The internet bastions of the left posted about it for weeks. Now the narrative is completely polar opposite; that he is a wimp. The truth is a foreign object to the media and this is par for the course. The problem is that we all tend to underestimate the media power as it still exists in determining the narrative of a campaign. They will keep trying until something “seems” to stick. Whether any part of whatever narrative is true, the duplicity and the hypocrisy here is stunning. Bob Shieffer was so elated at this new “narrative” that he could hardly contain his obvious glee on Face the Nation. So set aside the fiction of it all and understand the media motive.
