I need a quick list of all the Communist and Marxist ties in the Obama administration for use at a meeting tonight. Something beyond his mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, and appointee Van Jones. I know this topic is rich, and I hope other FReepers can help me tie it altogether in one neat package. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I just added it to the search engines list. Appreciate it.

Who is Valerie Jarrett
.how many really know?
Who is this woman behind the veil that many call the de facto POTUS?
She is Africian-American
rich father from Chicago
She was born in Iran
She was named Iranian of the Day in August of 2008 by Iranian.com
Her father-in-law, Vernon Jarrett, has long-standing ties to communists
She often meets privately with Muslim activists
She sits in on all W.H. meetings, weighing in on everything from the humdrum to what suspected terrorist should be taken out
She alone decides who sees Obama and who does not
She is the eyes and ears of the White House, determining who is loyal to Obama and who is not, and who needs to be taken out
Her only claim to fame is that she was known as a Chicago slum lord.
Valerie Jarretts Father-in-Law Was a Communist Worked With Obama Mentor Frank Marshall Davis

Vernon Jarrett
Senior Obama adviser Valerie Jarretts late father-in-law and Chicago Sun-Times columnist Vernon Jarrett, was a key member of the South Chicago communist left of the late 1940s.
After graduating from Knoxville College in Tennessee, Jarrett moved to Chicago in 1946 to work as a journalist. On his first day on the job at the radical Chicago Defender, he was sent to cover a race riot.
The Defender was heavily influenced by the Communist Party USA and included on its roster well known Chicago Communist Party member Frank Marshall Davis.
Frank Marshall Davis
Jarrett and Davis worked on the Defender around the same time. They certainly knew each other through the Communist Party and its fronts.
In June 1946, Vernon Jarrett was elected to the Illinois Council of the Communist Partys youth wing, then known as American Youth for Democracy. This is according to Testimony of Walter S. Steele regarding Communist activities in the United States. Hearings before the Committee on Un-American Activities, House of Representatives, Eightieth Congress, first session, on H. R. 1884 and H. R. 2122, pages 75,76. It is the first hard evidence tying Vernon Jarrett directly to the Communist Party. Frank Marshall Davis, incidentally, was an official sponsor of American Youth for Democracy, along with confirmed communists Howard Fast, Langston Hughes, John Howard Lawson and Dirk Struik.
In April 1948, Frank Marshall Davis and Vernon Jarrett were working together as members of the publicity committee of the communist controlled Citizens Committee to Aid Packing-House Workers....
Thanks to all who have responded. I have assembled more than 5 pages of information, which should be plenty for my meeting tonight, even if I just wave it at the group. I intend to publish it, however, and pass it out to those attending.
The occasion is that the membership chair of a local GOP group published a little card (more than 5000 distributed already and people asking for more) that is a schedule of upcoming Packer games. He has neatly inserted election dates (in red) in the football schedule. On the other side He has a motto — “Join the Party — Vigilant, Vocal, Victorius” and a picture of the GOP elephant. THe objection (from local known Communists) is the red and yellow banner across the top that says Obama (with the O being a rendition of the hammer and sicle) and the question: “Want to throw out this garbage?”
Of course some of the faint-hearted Republicans are re-thinking this wildly popular piece of campaign lit and are having a meeting tonight to discuss how “inappropriate” this business card is and to rake the Membership Chair over the coals. Actually to demand his resignation, which they cannot do because he was elected at caucus and only the caucus can replace him. I am no longer on the Executive Committee, but I am going to the meeting armed with the list of Obama’s Communist connections (partial list — just 5 pages).
Thank you all for your invaluable input. If anyone thinks of anybody else, not already mention, just chime in. I can re-print until 5 pm.

Good luck, if the weak-minded GOPers scoff at ‘old rumors’ about Ayers, etc., you can point them to a contemporary Obama ally — Eizabeth Warren. Obama and the DNC think so highly of her that she could be the keynote speaker at the DNC convention:

Kind of hard to argue Obama is not linked to her philosophy. And here is coverage of her latest ad — advocating that the US follow communist China’s example:

If they want an even more objective analysis of Obama’s philosophy they can find it here:
“Consider Obamas record in the U.S. Senate. He was rated by one prominent index as the most liberal member of that body during his tenure. Thats not the record of a pragmatic liberal. Indeed, Bernie Sanders, an avowed socialist, served with Obama. Since Obamas voting record was arguably to the left of Sanders, it is hardly fraudulent to suggest that Obama is a socialist.”

The “prominent index” noted above was from the National Journal, a very credible source even for for RINOs. The NJ rates every politician on ALL votes each Congress from most liberal to most conservative.
I believe the rating for Obama was from 2005-06, the only two years he actually served in Congress and therefore the most objective and credible benchmark to guage his philosophy.

So if he was to the left of the avowed socialist Sanders, how could anyone in good conscience not correctly identify Obama as a communist?
But the greatest part of the whole evening was the defense by the Membership Chair who was being targeted by the lily-livered PC folks who didn't want to "offend" anybody with the sight of a hammer and sicle graphic. "Republicans just don't DO those things." He gave the most impassioned speech and laid out all his reasoning for the cards, followed by the coup de grace -- the platform of the RNC itself commands in 3 or 4 places to "Fight Socialism". And one more twist of the knife -- it turns out that these cards (which a couple of people thought were so shocking) were not paid for by the organization at all. They were privately funded. And the hammer and sicle graphic? Turns out it is NOT a symbol of Communism as portrayed -- it is facing the opposite way and has a star added.
The wimps were so confused that one withdrew his "second" and one changed his vote. It was a tie, and the chair broke the tie by voting it down. Since this was an emergency meeting, the folks who liked the card were not expecting this meeting and they were off at other meetings, or out of town. Now they are talking about amending the group's Constitution, adding By-laws, and Policies and Procedures. They have been talking about that for 20 years and they won't have time to take those up until February. It will be forgotten by then.
But it made for an entertaining meeting. Our Membership Chair was on Fire! He was hopping around like a gymnist at the Olympics. You all should have heard him talking about Socialism, Marxism, and Communism and how those were going to be campaign themes both at the state and national levels and how we'd better get with it, or lose this election. He even made the statement that if the local GOP were doing its job, there would be no need for the Patriots Tea Party or the Citizens' Advisory Board (another T Party-like group that sprang up around here.)
My husband just ran through the list of some of the characters suggested here and read a quote from Alinsky saying that for the left to be able to promote change, the general populace had to be subdued and lethargic (a good description of our local Republicans.) Of course, it helped that the only public criticism of the cards was from 2 avowed Communists and these 5 wimpy members of the Executive Committee. At the end, 3 of the naysayers admitted they liked the cards, even though they voted against them. They just would have liked to have been consulted first, notwithstanding the fact that they made the assignment at a previous meeting and there was no time to consult.
Mark for later :)
