And the point is, Obama BELIEVES it. He does not stand for voluntary cooperative solutions in the free marketplace. He stands for governmental coercive solutions.
The question is, do enough Americans believe in freedom over race, "cool", and socialism (deceptively wrapped in "free" government handouts)?

Having to “walk back” or otherwise explain his own comments, especially when there’s a great deal of evidence that he meant exactly what he said, is damaging the Obama brand, especially among those who back him.
He is adding to the feeling they must all have by now, that he is a loser, an embarrassing incompetent. He’s dispiriting his base with this, IMHO.
