[history]
Sarah Palin generated such a huge interview scrum that it threatened to leave the actual NBC stars ignored.
~ TV Critic Alan Sepinwall via Twitter
Sarah Palin was the hit of NBCs annual Summer party at the Television Critics Association Summer press tour. NBC was holding its annual event to showcase its new season.
Todd, of course, is a contestant on Stars Earn Stripes a program that teams a star up with a member of the military, and the two take part in training exercises similar to what one does in the military. The teams are all competing for charities that benefit military and police.
As always, Sarah is the star in whatever room shes in, and when among liberals, even they cant wait to be around her.
As expected, this got a lot of media attention. Well start with the [snip]

She looked like a star, too, in designer sunglasses, green hip-hugging dress, and platform gladiator shoes. Surrounded by packs of reporters around the pool of the Beverly Hilton hotel, which features vintage photos of stars from Hollywoods golden age along all its halls, she seemed to fit right in. I got as far as that and stopped as I see the intent here - trying to make her into a celebrity and NOT the SERIOUS Patriot and political force she is. Scr*w'm.

That's what you got out of their efforts? Even though I've learned to hate many reality shows (Big Brother, Kardashians, Jersey Shore, et al crappola), this one sounds kinda good. Of course, it won't last.
I don't think Palin is going to run for another office. She will be a major pundit for conservatism for some time, but I believe she knows she has been damaged due to biased media. She is a bright woman who can see what is possible and what is not.

"Mrs. Palin, the former Alaska governor and the former Republican vice-presidential candidate, was on the scene because her husband, Todd, does star in an upcoming NBC series, a reality competition show called Stars Earn Stripes, which pairs celebrities with special operatives from the Navy SEALs and other elite first-responder units, in contests designed to emulate missions. The winners get cash prizes for charities."
I abhor so many reality shows, but this one sounds worthy of watching. On NBC, really? I wager it will last for a half season and get cancelled.

Of course, it won't last. Funny you mention the Kardashions. The Palins are competing with them in the realm of "reality TV," and that's trivializing one who could have been great. Could have been a contender. I used to think it was a clever grand plan but it's starting to look just silly.

On Greta’s show last night, Pat Buchanan recommended that Gov. Romney pick Gov. Palin as his running mate to bring the conservatives on-board.

What kind of America is it where people settle for being “damaged” by lying, envious troublemakers? Not Sarah Palin’s America, and not mine either.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
Mittens doesn’t have the balls to Pick Sarah. Besides, he has too big of an ego to have someone on the ticket that would outshine him at every turn.

Sarah Palin continues to win hearts and minds. Team Romney should take note. This is how its done! Exactly. Don't be petty and vindictive.
To: JaguarXKE
Sarah would be a bad choice this time around, b/c she would be a huge distraction from the focus that every savvy GOP advisor should insist upon-—the hideous record of the Marxist Punk. Bob

Stop saying that media cr@p - she has NOT been damaged! No one can damage her accomplishments in Alaska and her rock solid conservatism and what she has done for TP candidates! What’s wrong w/you?
To: 2ndDivisionVet
How totally different the United States would be with the Palin’s in the White House.

Agreed. That’s why Mitt will not pick a true Conservative as most would outshine him(as would just about anyone!).
