Interested in some ideas for a very basic basic primer to provide some foundation for a new college conservative going on a road trip...nothing too involved--just an easy-to-read basic first book that will provide basic information on politics, culture, economy from a conservative (or limited government libertarian) viewpoint.

They can listen to Anoreth now or they can suffer under Vlad later. God bless you and all of yours!

You’re welcome. : )
The videos of speeches are worth watching, too.

Is onread.com legit? A search came back with all sorts of threads about trojans and shady russian/chinese servers.

I mean, if they host books which are not public domain -for free- isn’t that by definition pirate waters?

I’ve been using them for a year and never had a problem with malware. It does use Cookies to keep track of bookmarks, however, I will check more into this.

I believe they pay the publishing houses for the rights so it isn’t piracy.

Speaking My Mind by Ronald Reagan

I picked up my copy at the Reagan Presidential Library and Museum last month. I was reading it during my wait at LAX and during the layover at Los Vegas, and I can't tell you how many people stopped and asked me where I'd gotten it and what I thought of it. I know it was at least 25-30.
