He includes all preppers together in one group and projects what he thinks onto the whole group.
If one compares me to James Wesley Rawles, then I’m barely a prepper. I don’t have a fortified compound with almost all luxuries of life.
I do have what I need to live fairly well for a long time. I don’t worry about a hurricane coming through and have been through a number of those using my preps as power goes out every time.
I wish others would prepare, but not many do. I can’t save the world, but I can save myself and my Yorkie. FEMA can help those who don’t prepare but they don’t have to save me.
In a national emergency that lasts a long time, I’m okay and FEMA couldn’t save everyone.
I just read that last Friday, Hussein signed another executive order giving power to Homeland Security over all communications in the US in case of a national emergency. Why would he do that if there was no chance, ever, of a national emergency?
Plus, our tax money has prepared a place for him and family to go in case of an emergency. There is water and food stored for him. Well, I’m as important as he is and have stored my own water and food - I paid for his and mine.
I have chosen to prepare - I trust myself to provide what I need. I don’t have to depend on the water company or electric company or stores to stay open in order to stay alive and live fairly well.
Others have to make their own decision. Three of my close family members have no preps but they can come here as I have stored enough for them and they know that.
In conclusion, every person has a choice.
I’ll also say if a naked person on bath salts (zombie) tries to chew on me, I’m killing him with my Ruger 38 hollow point bullets.
Many folks in this area simply left their homes and checked into hotels. I shutter to think how it would have gone if that had not been an option.
Keep up the good work Marcella.
