Can’t increase the cost if there is no money

Who was the last president who decreased the role, size, and cost of government?
I loathe meh romney, I loathe emperor bammy, but after serious consideration and much disgust, it’s better to take the possible unknown over the all too well known who is actively working towards our destruction.
Both will likely lead us to the end of America as we know it, but the kenyan caliph is hell bent on doing it NOW. With Meh, we maybe stand a chance of seeing a short reprieve.

So Roosevelt’s wars were silly and unnecessary?
Because, after all, another German/Japanese dictator would have done the same, right?

Clay - welcome to free republic. Looks like you’ve only been here less than a week. Usually people post articles and everyone comments. That’s the usual drill. What you have posted is essentially a “vanity”. We all occasionally post vanities but it is generally an exception. In your case you have posted two of them back to back harping on our weak RINO candidate. Like throwing red meat to a bunch of angry tigers. anyway - welcome aboard.

Yes, yes, and yes.

Probably, however now the masses are more educated, vote senate and house for fiscal responsibility and then hope for the best.

The cost of government can only be increased as long as foreign investors and domestic inflation allow. As far as “role” goes, who cares about play acting? The debt/revenue munchers can dramatize all they like. For now, other nations are nice enough to give us products and the debt to buy them with. Have fun. Enjoy the slide.

I read that Romney’s position on most issues is virtually the same as Obama’s. So the answer is most likely he will.
