I hate to bust your dream of repeal.
But this is just a “show” vote.
It would have to pass the senate, which it won’t
and then be signed by Zero.
Good luck on that.
Good. Obviously it is going nowhere until Obami is kicked out. But good anyway.
There might be more success after the election if we get a few more Senate seats. I really don’t think my moderate Democrat friend (all 2 of them) really don’t know what they’re into. Both have elderly parents still alive. Funny, they are both lawyers, but not terribly interested in politics.
Fine. This has to be done.
But it is largely symbolic and political. And somewhat misleading.
Dems in conservative districts will vote against Obamacare until they have to cast a vote to override Obama. Then they’ll vote for it.
What matters is who voted for it the first time.
The American folk SHOULD NOT wait another month for this awful criminal law to stand NOT ONE MORE DAY...REPEAL IT NOWWWWWW!!!! while the iron is hot!!! NOW!!!
Such a vote is a waste of time and money designed to give cover to some RINOS and ride anger to Romney’s benefit.
It is a symbolic vote only because Reid will NEVER allow it to come up for vote in the Senate.
They’ve always had the ability to DEFUND THE ENTIRE POS OBAMACARE.
I would also DEFUND the Supreme Court of the United States while they’re at it.
They need to keep going till the federal gubbermint is one percent it’s current size.
It dosen't matter. The Liberals and the media know it was a lie and if anyone was fooled, well then tough snot. The Right knew it was a lie but failed to convince the fooled or the uncaring. Obama, Pilosi and company were hailed as courageous law givers.
Now court has made the mandate a tax. Rare does a body of politicians ever eradicate a tax. This mess is here to stay. It is disgraceful, but it is the law and its of the presidents choosing so it will be enforced..
Yeah...a symbolic gesture fer sure...maybe you could stamp your foot adamantly too.
If you mean business, attach repeal to each and every bill you send out the door.
ALL of them including the hiway and student loan reauthorizations.
We might believe you are serious...
If only we could repeal also the new constitutional precedent set today that Fedzilla’s power to tax both activity and non-activity is total. The devastation this precedent will ultimately do to our Republic makes the wreckage of ObamaCare shrink to insignificance.
If and when....
Problem is it doesn’t kick in until 2014 so the public will not be feeling its effects till after the election
The GOP has to show how much of an impact it will be with numbers in their campaign ads
I think the House of Representatives should bring this up for a vote, pass it and send it over to the Senate every 2 weeks. Let the country watch the Senate Dems vote it down every 2 weeks til the election.
Maybe he will write a letter in all caps to show he really means it.
Many here were accused of belonging to the tinfoil hat crowd, there is no joy in having been right about these traitors. Now that Roberts has revealed himself, don’t it just make you feel all good inside, that he is so young.
Bushites should be really proud.
God help us, for surely there is none other.
Showboating isn’t relevant,if we get used to a Republican party that passes symbolic measures then we’ll get more of the same when they hold the Senate and the House.Leave the political circus to the Liberals.
The whole healthcare thing is based on the European model,it is practiced in Japan and in .the former British colonies.Neither Japan or Europe can afford it,I doubt Canada will have much more luck with the NHS.
In the short term, the Republicans will take the Senate and the House. It is unlikely that Europe or California will stop sinking into the abyss of their own making. At such it is not a viable lifestyle to copy.
Empty gestures at this point mean nothing, there is a need for leadership that is willing to change things in a way that affects people on the street not just the perceptions of those who follow the news.
