I will not vote for Marco Rubio as Vice President if Mitt Romney selects him to run on his ticket. He is NOT constitutionally eligible to be President or Vice President, and I would be a damn hypocrite in holding my ire and giving him my vote after working as hard as possible to educate people on Barack Obama’s ineligibility.
Call me a Birther, call me a Tea Party hick, call me an “extremist” or racist, I could give a flying forgery. I just don’t care anymore. I’m not going to be like one of those liberals who complain about the rich not paying more taxes and not voluntarily putting their money where there mouth is. And conservatives have constantly compromised on principle to the point where most Americans don’t think there is much difference in the spending habits of either party.
If you consider yourself a conservative – let me advise you that you can’t buy back your integrity when it’s convenient.

tell that to a lot of folks who voted in 2008 for Sarah Palin...
Check. We can mark you down as a solid vote for obomo. Or maybe it’s mark the article author down...or maybe both of you.
You stepped in it now, Debbie.
With regard to the Constitution ‘natural born’ means born in US.
Period. If you think the citizenship status of parents has anything
to do with it then get over it because you are wrong. A German born
young couple move to the US. One of the parents becomes a US
senator after a few terms in the House. According to some here the
couple’s American born grandkids would be eligible to be US prez
but their American born children would not be eligible. Anybody
with two brain cells to rub together believe that?
You left out a key element, the 2nd one. Two parentS who are citizens....
“...that every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of
parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is,
in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen .
The 14th didn’t change ‘natural’ ~ it merely changed “citizen”
I agree. Romney is boring enough. Puh-lezzze no Pawlenty or
Portman (whom I couldn’t recognize anyway). I can tolerate amesty
as promoted by Rubio if we stop the flow.
Then run a Republican. Any sort of candidate other than that would be unpatriotic to vote for.
It was what? The NBC status seems to still be a state item.
You dont vote for the VP, Jimbo.
A better element of discussion would be why would someone wielding real influence accept the VP slot?
Now that might not seem relevant to you, but the court said, in fact:
"A child born in the United States, of parents of Chinese descent, who, at the time of his birth, are subjects of the Emperor of China, but have a permanent domicil and residence in the United States, and are there carrying on business, and are not employed in any diplomatic or official capacity under the Emperor of China, becomes at the time of his birth a citizen of the United States, by virtue of the first clause of the Fourteenth Amendment of the Constitution "
The entire KIm decision hinges on whether or not the PARENTS HAVE PERMANANT DOMICILE AND RESIDENCE ~ not just MERE PRESENCE!
Kim falls short of your declaration. In fact, the determination that all you need to do is get born here to be a citizen is based on an ADMINISTRATIVE decision ~ not at all by a court decision.
If that administrative judgment were reviewed against Kim, you'd have about 30 million Americans turned into non-citizens because their non-citizen parents weren't here lawfully and didn't have a lawful residence or domicile in the US.
The state department through the appropriate immigration agency made an administrative decision regarding birthright citizenship BUT did not reference the law or the relevant or applicable court decisions.

You will vote for whoever is the Republican nominee if I have to come over there, put your head in a headlock, drag you to the voting booth and push your nose into the lever. It is the least I can do to keep you from crying and carrying on like a little girl after Zer0 gets reelected.
