White guilt. That pernicious sickness is also found in Iowa, the 97% white state that launched Obama.
I’ve never understood “white guilt”. Maybe it’s me, but I just don’t get it. I lost a lot of family in the Holocaust, but I don’t go around trying to make anyone I meet with a German last name feel guilty. The only Germans I hold responsible for it are the ones who did the killing. The ones who were born afterword had nothing to do with it.
The whole reparations thing is just the redistribution of wealth with a bunch of race baiting for good measure. Yes, slavery was wrong. No one in their right mind would think otherwise. Would a check from the Federal Leviathan right that wrong ? No. Would some sort of formal apology make it go away ? No. Ellison knows that, but he just doesn’t care. A divided, balkanized people is far easier to control.
I live in a predominantly black neighborhood and have never had a problem. My neighbors are very nice and we get along just fine. We didn’t need diversity training, or any other crud like that. We’re simply neighbors being neighborly.
