Undocumented Mexican youths who came to the United States as children reacted with joy to an Obama administration rule change that could spare them deportation.
"It hasn't really sunk in entirely, but I feel a sense of joy and happiness because I know this is really going to change my life," said Justino Mora, 22, an undocumented computer science student at UCLA in Los Angeles.
Mora is among an estimated 800,000 illegal immigrants up to 30 years old who came to the US as children and will benefit by the surprise order announced by US Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.
"I will have the opportunity to create my own business so that I can help my family financially and create the jobs that the US needs," Mora told Reuters.
The rule change applies to undocumented youngsters like Mora who do not pose a risk to national security and who will now be eligible to stay in the country and apply for work permits. Mora came to the US at age 11 from central Mexico with his mother.
Those eligible under Obama's plan must have come to the US under the age of 16 and lived in the country for at least five years.
They must be in school or have graduated from high school or be honourably discharged from the U.S. military....

You won’t have to imagine a thing.
We will all be living it.
The Nation is toast.
We need to flood the lines and e mails in dc until they overload.
And yet there are those who try to make it happen by monomaniacly attacking Romney because he isn't "holy" enough...Instead of worrying about getting a glimpse of the gates of Hell, they ought to worry more about OPENING the gates...
How does one water the Liberty Tree?

Pure Nirvana: Utter Joy as Obama graciously relaxes horrible, REPUBLICAN, *EVIL* deportation rules
Beautiful, sweetnatured undocumented Mexican youths who came to the United States as children reacted with pure joy to the best thing that has ever happened in the history of mankind: The Savior, Barack (GOD He's So HANDSOME) Obama wisely and kindly lightly altered a rule, that now allows these wonderful children to stay in America, contrary to those evil REPUBLICAN rules and laws. Republicans are evil.
"It hasn't really sunk in entirely, but I am estatic that Obama personally changed my life," said Justino Mora, 22, an undocumented computer science student at UCLA in Los Angeles, "Have you heard the Good News? Jesus has returned in the form of Barack Obama, and He will give you salvation!"
All of America is in agreement with the sentiment that Justino voiced. A recent poll of 1 American adult shows that 100% of America is behind this delightful, heavenly pronouncement from The New Jesus Christ, Barack Obama.
"I will have the opportunity to create my heaven in America. I can help my family financially and create all of the jobs that the US needs," Mora told Reuters.
Today, the winter has ended. Sunshine finally beams on the faces of these smart, handsome, and moral children. All is music and joy. Sweetness and light emanates from every corner.
Trees. Beautiful trees. Large, pretty, fluffy clouds. Kittens tumbling out of a basket, mewing and playing.
Clouds. Kittens.
Life is finally worth living.
Clouds.
Really, I can't think of anyone who has benefited. People are worried, scared and ticked off.
I live in Boston and you do not see even 1/10th of the number of signs, bumper stickers and so on supporting Obama. The few liberals I know don't even want to discuss the man or the election.
While Mitt is not my favorite candidate I will vote for him. Obama unleashed is the death of America.
I have wondered what his pardon list will look like on the way out the door though. Should be a real stunner.
