Yesterday on a thread FReeper marron was very good to discribe her very own Financial SHTF experience. Seeing what is more than likely coming our way I believe her post to be extremely valuable information and I am posting it here again to make sure that as many FReepers read it.
Thank you marron the firsthand expereince and the information you shared is priceless to those currently prepping and should be eye opening to those that aren't.

I posted ‘non sequitur’ because I thought the discussion was focused upon the political climate. I do not disagree that Americans are as human as 1930s Germans. The political climate was however very different from that of our current reality and how we got here. Focusing on a population rather than the factors roiling the population is to miss the essence of our predicament.

I cannot think that the KGB would have tolerated an independent "Mafia" entity during the USSR days. I think that the entity we know as "the Russian Mafia" is actually a deniable segment of the KGB, composed of KGB thugs operating in an approved sideline.

If the police don't get paid, they will NOT go hungry. They will turn into a "protection" gang, demanding tribute from stores, businesses, and homeowners in exchange for "protection".
What happened when Rome fell, and the Legions were no longer available to protect people from bandits? You got local "lords" taking over that function, and turning people into their serfs.

Another one of those goofy posts, a guy lists some of the worse massacres in history and says that Americans are going to join the list because there is nothing different about America, American roots, American religion, American traditions and culture, American government, and literally, the centuries of already known American history.
A true American knows that America is totally different, that is why we are conservatives, to keep and instill more of that Americanism, we are not mass murderers just waiting for a chance to join the list of historical monstrosities.
That is why being defeated in war by Americans is about the best thing that can happen to a country.
I don’t anticipate the death camps against the vast majority of Americans run by a tiny group of city living, non-enlisting, Christian haters from NYC, anytime soon.
I said there is no fundamental difference between us and the rest of our species that would make us immune to joining the list.

Really? Then explain Waco. Nothing happened from that. Fear will keep people inline until we kill off enough of the bad guys to make them give it up.

America had it's chance to repent after 9/11, but instead we, like ancient Isreal after it's first warning, replaced the "fallen bricks" with "hewn stone" and replaced the fallen "Sycamore" with "Cedar", in defiance of God's judgement, rather than in addition to national repentance.

God sent Washington to a righteous people. His very first act as President was to kneel on at the grounds of a small church in the nation's capitol, which was New York City at the time, and dedicate the nation to God, in the presence of all of the nation's senators and congressmen. Upon the very spot he kneeled, near the end of a protective wall, the world trade centers were built. The very Church which owned the ground, still standing and now known as "Trinity Wall Street" has become national headquarters for the Occupy Wall Street movement. The very protective wall that made the early colony safe from pirates and allowed business to flourish became Wall Street, once our nation's greatest blessing, now is becoming our greatest curse.
God sent Washington to lead a righteous people. He has now sent Obama, a perfect judgement for a sinful people. Next it looks like the nation will elect a Baal worshiping cult leader to take his place.
