I see the doctor and take a myriad of pills. I’d have to say having diabetes sucks. I can’t say I recommend it.

Take care of yourself, patriot! We need all hands on deck, FRiend!

Yes, this is a victory we should cherish, but we should always remember that we're on the edge of complete political, economic, and social disaster as a nation. This is a battle that must be fought, but as we can see, it's clearly winnable.

So why on earth, at this most pivotal moment in our history, are we preparing to elect a faux Republican to the White House? It's the greatest irony of this entire political season.

I sure hope we can win, with a quisling liberal in charge. I feel like we're going from the fire into the frying pan.

This is the way I see it, and this is what keeps me from drawing a warm bath and slitting my wrists ala Frank Pantangeli in the Godfather Part Two: It will be far easier to drag Romney into the light than it will be Chairman Obama.

Romney and his RINO friends will need us and our votes to stay in power. They’ll certainly be more apt to listen than Chairman Obama, that’s for sure.

One thing that works in our favor is the fact that the media will be so busy attemping to keep the Dog Eating Homosexual Agenda Pusher from Kenya that they’re not going to pay a whole lot of attention to the Senate and House races. We have a golden opportunity to pack the House and Senate with Conservatives. In other words, we can surround Romney with Conservatives, whether he likes it or not. Also keep in mind, Romney isn’t much of a fighter. I seriously doubt he’d veto legislation that comes from House or Senate Republicans.

Hurmmm. This reply is longer than my post..... (Watchmen humor.)

Hope that helps. Feel free to tell me that I’m full of it.

:)

We'll see, but I think you're almost tragically optimistic about the coming Romney regime. I'd really like to believe like you, but I've never seen a tiger change their stripes. Never.

Romney will probably be more conservative than Bush.

Mormons are very conservative.

Only conservatives that don't work for, donate money and vote for Romney, will give Obama the election.

Romney won't be in Massachusetts anymore. He may surprise us all.

Either way, I will take a rino over socialist anytime.

Romney loves America, Zero does not!

Romney will probably be more conservative than Bush.

Mitt Romney’s Dismal Record

"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.

* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.

* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.

* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.

"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.

In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

[Cato Institute annual Fiscal Policy Report Card - America's Governors, 2004.]

Romney's "accomplishments".

1. Implemented/created Gay Marriage in MA

2. Supported and forced Gay Adoption in MA

3. Supported Abortion wholeheartedly

4. Raised taxes/fees over 300% while being Governor of MA

5. Implemented a state-level Cap and Trade system.

6. Supported Man-Made Global Warming

7. Supported the Brady Bill

8. Implemented a state level “Assault” Weapons Ban after the Federal AWB was allowed to expire.

9. Supported TARP

10. Supported Amnesty for Illegal Aliens (Citizenship for those already here)

11. Supported McCain-Kennedy (Amnesty)

12. Implemented a socialized medicine in MA called RomneyCare complete with an Individual Mandate and $50 abortions.

13. Nominated 27 Democrats (out of 36 nominations) for judgeships in MA, many of them extreme left-wingers.

I’d like to believe me, too. :)

I can’t dispute one thing you’ve said. Not one, nor would I care to. The point that I’m trying to make is that anything is better than the homosexual agenda pushing, dog-eating, commie lib pig Kenyan who is illegally in the White House. I did not, I repeat NOT vote for Romney. Originally, I was in Bachmann’s corner. She folded her tent, so I jumped on the Cain Train. When that was derailed, it was my time to vote, so I voted for Newt. When that stalled, I became a Santorum guy. Never once during the primary process was I a “Romney guy”.

However, the primary is over. My number one goal is to get rid of Chairman Obama and his satanic evil. Am I thrilled with Romney ? Absolutely not. He has more skeletons in his closet than an ancient tomb. I’m not going through the mid-life crisis Ann Coulter seems to be going through. I am not supporting Romney, I’m supporting Jew hater Obama’s removal from office.

Hope this clears my position up. Frankly, I barely understand it.

More Conservative than Bush ? Shoot, my cat’s more Conservative than Bush, and while we’re at it, she’s more Conservative than Romney, too.

Your post is dead on. I don’t like Romney’s record. I don’t even like him personally. The ONLY thing I like about Romney is that he ain’t Obama.

Seen my doctor today been fighting this stuff for about 9 years now i too take a myriad of pills 3 prescribed and a bunch of supplements all doctor approved of course the supplements seem to do more good than the prescribed

One word of advice watch your feet when you start getting ulcers on your feet you'll fight them forever I've got one on each foot and had operations to remove bones but all you can really do is keep them good and clean and don't puncture them or let callouses get to big I've got a great podiatrist hes saved my life a couple times i owe him allot to say the least

At least you're keeping your sense of humor about it. I think that's healthy :-) I fully acknowledge your right to take the position you're taking, and I do understand your reasoning.

We've been dealt a terrible hand in this election. I don't think many of us would have predicted this outcome before the primary began. Many of us saw that the stars were aligned for the election of a strong, Reaganesque figure. That's precisely where the pendulum has swung to, but the GOP elites were having none of it, and pulled out all of the stops to get their company man in the first position.

We should have had a candidate that provided a strong contrasting counterpoint to Obama, but instead we got someone whose politics are just a few shades off of his. It's not the right prescription to save the patient. It's weak medicine; a watered down version of the same poison we're being fed now. We'll see if the patient can even survive it.

That's about the only positive thing I can say about him.

I'll be celebrating Obama's loss in November, but I damn sure won't be celebrating Romney's win. I think we've got another four year grind ahead of us. Guarantee you, he's gonna piss us off.

I had a small break in my ankle that my doctor said was from diabetes. Luckily, that healed. I’ve had sores, but they were never serious.

Frankly, I don’t know what’s scarier: Our ever-growing government, or Type II Diabetes. Both are very destructive entities.

Sad and infuriating, at the same time.

The arc of our recent history leads directly to the election of a strong conservative at these coordinates in time and space. It took a lot of force and corruption to make it otherwise.

I think we have our Reaganesque figures in Wisconsin and Alaska. I just wish they would have run. I think either Scott Walker or Sarah Palin would’ve embarrassed Romney in the primary and I also think they would wipe the mat with Chairman Obama.

That being said, I can’t sit and mourn that which didn’t happen. It’s a waste of time. You’re a 1000% right. The hand that we were dealt absolutely sucks. If we were playing Hearts, we’d only have the Queen of Spades in our hand. (If you don’t play Hearts, only having the Queen of Spades without other spades in your hand is called a Deadman’s Hand or a Black Widow hand. You have a serious shot of coughing up some serious points.)

A good Hearts player can fight his way out of a Deadman’s Hand. It takes a lot guts and guile, but it can be done. We the Conservatives can and MUST do the same. The alternative is unthinkable-—the decline and fall of the United States.

Agreed. This time around, we not only had to deal with the usual cast of misery pimps in the media, we also had to deal with the Fox Neocon Channel (FNC) who basically handed Romney the nomination.

Et tu, Ailes ?

I don't think most conservatives are really going to see this until Romney begins revealing his liberal agenda while in office. Right now, most of them are too tense about ousting Obama to think outside the short-term.

What scares me, is congressional Republicans' tendency to roll over for RINO presidents. I'll have to see them push back against Romney to believe it. Even if they do, I don't think I'll ever get over the feeling that they're going to stab conservatives in the back at the worst possible moment. Especially if Boehner remains as Speaker and McConnell becomes Senate leader.

We'd better be prepared to fight as hard, or harder, than we've done with Obama.
