While I researched and wrote this article over the past week, The Post & Email published a story about a citizen who has challenged Mitt Romneys eligibility for the presidency. The citizen argues that Mitt Romneys father, George W. Romney, was a Mexican citizen according to Mexican law, by virtue of his birth in that country. The citizen further argues that it is incumbent upon Mitt Romney to prove that his father naturalized in the USA by the time of Mitts birth, in 1947.

If they are going to start this, Odummy had better have ALL of his records ready. They have opened a can of worms they are going to wish they left closed.
Bring it on “citizen”. Probably Soros.
If the court rules against Romney, what does that do for Obama??? This will be hilarious.
Mexico offers birthright citizenship to those visiting? Even from Guatemala?
He can argue it all he wants, but it won't make it so. Before he makes an utter fool of himself (and it may already be too late for that) he ought to familiarize himself with the ACTUAL laws of Mexico, not just the imaginary ones.
Oh, that's right. A Democrat can question a Republican's eligibility, but not the other way around. Right?
You mean we haven’t been questioning Zero’s citizenship status? It seems to me that we have done a LOT of that, for several years now, and very effectively, it seems to me. I know hardly anyone who believes that he meets the Constitutional requirements for the Presidency. The common position is one of resignation; most folks are sure that he isn’t eligible, and are equally sure that nothing whatsoever will be done about it - ever.
And this current joker is not going far this ridiculous argument regarding the citizenship of George Romney, who was NEVER a Mexican citizen, by birth or any other way.
And the joker certainly has not been found to have standing, and he won’t be.
Objection, your honor, we in fact do not know for certain whom is Stephen Barnard Dunham's, aka Barry Dunham's, aka Barry Soetoro's, aka Barack Hussein Obama's actual genetic father, and no document yet presented into evidence has established parentage for this fraudulent usurper. If the plaintiff wishes to assert 'for certain' then more than heresay is required.
In the complete absence of any other fact or evidence, we have the assertions of the man’s own mouth, and the father’s name on the “Birth Certificate”.
These will be dispositive absent any other evidence, which I assume you do not have, or you would have produced it.
Produce a valid ‘birth certificate’ for this fraudulent usurper, then we’ll discuss this further.
Genetic paternity is not what is at issue here, it’s legal paternity, as any poor sot who’s gotten stuck paying child support for a child he did not father can well attest. Upon information and belief resulting from words and documentation provided by the President himself, we know who his legal father is.
No, we have the word of a proven liar as to whom was his father. I have yet to read a valid piece of documentation attesting to the assertion from the lying fraud in the White House.
In fact, there is more reliable documentation that Lolo Soetoro is the father of little barry bastard commie, than there is that a Kenyan exchange student was the father.
MHGinTN thanks for the name to research.
LucyT, hoosiermama, butterdezillion, FredNerks, pinging y’all to this.
Wait till Mr 0b0tt0 refuses to cede the office because of article 2 compliance!
We’re dealing with a legal status at birth that may or may not convey eligibility for office, MGH. Lolo Sotoero had not yet entered the picture at that juncture. Obama has made repeated representations that Obama, Sr. was his legal father at birth. Such representations are legally actionable.
That there appears to have been a later adoption may or may not add further difficulties in making any determination. However, no one has ever claimed that Lolo Sotoero was Obama’s legal father at birth. Legal paternity is all that matters. Later genetic testing could indicate that Desmond Tutu contributed Obama’s Y chromosome, but it would not change a thing legally as far as birth status.
‘legally actionable’ ... okay, Barry has made assertions in writing and verbally that the Kenyan student was his father. Barry has even presented a composite forgery which he asserted was the abstract of a ‘real birth record in Hawaii’. I will quickly agree that these things are legally actionable, but we the peoploe have yet to examine a single document from a non-barry source which would be legally evidentiary to attest to his assertions. To offer comment that we have evidnece of his father, as if from some source other than his lies or his mother’s assertion on a document presented to the corrupt state of Hawaii that she has a child, as proof of the Kenyan exchange student being the father is inaccurate.
Your saying so doesn’t make it actually so, any more than all the Ace Ventura Birth Detectives and Buckhead wannabees make it so.
If there is proof of fraudulent misrepresentation as you say, then find a way to actually act upon it, rather than working yourselves into a lathered up knot on the interwebs daily.
I say there’s no evidence of a father that could convey the requisite status. I’ll continue to say that. But, there does not appear to be any means available to mere citizens to pursue the matter outside the ballot box.
Have Nice Day ... time to go rinse my ‘lather’. Bwahahahaha
That's HIS job, not mine. Meanwhile we have his own confession that his father was not a US Citizen, and that's all we need to know. If you want to cast doubt on that, fine, but it's YOU who needs evidence in that case. Again, not me.
