It was amazing how fast the anti-war movement during WWII shifted to full tilt pro-war - the very second Hitler attacked their beloved “Uncle Joe” Stalin.

My little sister was a freshman in college and went to an “anti-war” rally. She came back saying “Those people are NOT anti-war and they are NOT for peace.”

Amid the communists, Arab agitators, and antisemites - it was hard to find a single person actually for “peace”.
