If Darrell Issa has any thoughts of the full House voting on his Oversight Committees citation of contempt against Eric Holder, he will first have to clear the idea with the Attorney Generals staunchest allies and political defendersRepublican Speaker John Boehner, Republican Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Republican Majority Whip, Kevin McCarthy.
Upon the Speakers office being provided a draft of the citation last week, a spokesman for the Republican leadership said While there are very legitimate arguments to be made in favor of such an action, no decision has been made to move forward with one by the Speaker or by House Republican leaders. But now it appears these stalwart souls have finally made that decision. They will slow [Issas] drive to hold the attorney general in contempt over the controversial Fast and Furious program for a period of a month or even longer Apparently a years worth of testimony and documentation linking Obama Regime operatives to hundreds of deaths and the walking of some 2000 weapons across the Mexican border just havent been sufficient to convince Speaker Boehner that something is amiss. Somebody needs to tell Boehner that it’s still okay to go after the bad guys. Even if they are “black”. Eric the Holder is not Barry the Kenyan. He is NOT a messiah that will bring shouts of “racist” if you go after him. Lighten up Boehner and lets go after the commies for once.
Vote our the Rinos
Any chance of retiring John Boehner?
Letting the crying one become Speaker was one of the worst mistakes made after the triumph of 2010 elections....
Bonehead has to go. Every effort to remove him as speaker and when up for reelection, make sure he is out.
Boehner made an abrupt change in his stance of against Obama and the Dems after his golf outing with Barry. I’d bet Barry introduced Boehner to the compromising dirt he and his have dug up on him.
Bonehead is a joke. He and Cantor need to go.
But in the interest of justice, the answer must be "So what?"
Guys, Think about it. We do NOT want contempt charges now. We want the Charges to be brought in late July and the hearings to drag on during the Democrat convention in August. It will mute any post convention bounce. Then a ruling comes out for impeachment of Holder in September / October. However before that happens Holder would be forced to resign and Obama would have to appoint a new Attorney General.
All this to remind voters how corrupt the Obama Administration is. Now is not the time, keep the powder dry just a little longer.
Does anyone think that he is delaying it to be closer to the election?
I think you’re correct on the timing. Closer to the election is better than early spring.
Nothing says Issa can’t continue to collect evidence and make sure this thing blows like a lanced boil in the weeks prior to November.
This is one of the guys we would depend on to supposedly drive Romney to the right, LOL.
How so?
Negroes, Blacks, African-Americans—whatever the term du jour—are not going to vote for a Republican candidate.
that makes too much sense. It’s easier to make fun of him and post crying pictures than it is to actually think about it for a few minutes.
Where the scandals put there by Obama/Holder Dept. of Just Us or are they real?
