Define fat? If you don't think Americans are not overweight as a whole and there is some big conspiracy I'm going to stop right now.
The country has record amounts of Type II diabetes, sleep apnea, joint problems, HBP, gastric reflux, breathing problems all related to obesity.
Jeesh look around.
Everybody with more than 10% body fat is considered fat which is not the case. There are plenty of studies showing a more normal weight is healthier than these starvation diets people are on.
Women are told to look like they just walked out of Auschwitz and are having all sorts of health problems resulting from starvation. Be very skeptical of anything you are told from science. Much of it has an agenda as does this.

I teach hundreds of children, and they are constantly changing, as I teach music, all ages, all areas, all socioeconomic levels. In 13 years I have observed Two children who are “overweight”, and One who can be called obese. Perhaps there is an increase in weight amongst American Children, but the insane emphasis that is applied with a bludgeon by the government-media complex is overdone and inappropriate. Now Broward County is giving THREE Meals a Day to School Children, who have already had breakfast when they come to school, and after three taxpayer supplied meals, go home for yet ANOTHER one. This is NOT going to cure “Childhood Obesity”. In fact, it may be causing it!
